I have 3 plays for today:
1.) BEST BET:
We'll pick up where we left off last year. I'll roll that great Dynamo defense to stymie the Revolution. This could be a high scoring affair but with all the new players for New England, it should take them a couple of weeks to jel offensively. The marquee matchup of the opening day of games, but the under seems to be the play with Ching dropping back from the midfield position.
2 units on under 2 1/2 -120 in Houston/New England
2.) Kansas City +150
The Wizards had a nice end to the season and pulled the playoff upset in the 1st round last year. I think this team is gonna surprise this year and we should see Kansas city come out smoking at home. Eddie Johnson is available (back from Poland)after US national team duty and the Wizards have more players who have been playing winter soccer. THrow in a KC crowd at home and we should see KC come through behind the stellar defense and the attacking forwards.
1.5 units risking on KC Wizards +150 to win in regulation time
3.) Los Angeles/Colorado over 2 1/2 goals
Beckham, Donovan, and other big names make LA the team to beat (on paper) to open the season. Colorado can score and the Galaxy are the best set piece team in MLS with Beckham and Donovan controlling the front. I love this over as I think we'll see at least 4 goals scored tonight in Colorado.
1.5 units on Galaxy/Colorado over 2 1/2 +110

I'm bitter, we went 2-1 and got a nice profit but Houston under should have come in. It went 3-0 in the 93'rd minute. LA went over 4-0 and KC won 2-0

2-1 ATS

Tonight I will be playing the over 2 1/2 in the LA Galaxy/San Jose Earthquakes. Anyone not named Teeks or PC that saw the Galaxy get waxed 4-0 in colorado..well,you know what we saw. The Galaxy had the same problem as last year. Terrible defense in the back and the lack of a distributor up the middle. San Jose is an expansion team (who used to have a team in MLS and actually won the MLS cup) but they have talent. I expect them to get at least 1 and Beckham and Donovan and Company to get at least 2.
Let's roll
OVER 2 1/2 -110 in LA/San Jose tonight on ESPN 2
2-1 ATS on the year

3-1 ats +3.15 units (I need to double check mylast post, I believe it won but will verify when I update:)
ROLL WITH ME ON DC/Columbus over 2 1/2 goals.
Both teams have a total of 11 games in 3 played. That averages out to 2.75 a game. Both give up at least 2 goals a game and both have scored an average of 1.5
Neither team is known for defense, rather, that they run and push. Both keepers are suspect in my opinion as well.
National TV...more pressing forward
DC/Columbus over 2 1/2 for me

I like one play tonight.
Roll with me on under 2 1/2 in the Galaxy game. Houston has allowed 6 goals, the Galaxy 7, but man, Houston can play defense. I'll get off that trend if it's open season tonight but watch how well Landon and Beckham will be marked. I also think Houston plays great defense on the road and if anything, it's L.A. who will allow the goals tonight.
Small play for me
1 unit on Houston under 2 1/2 -105
I really like Colorado as well but if you can't get a goal line don't risk it on the high juice. Colorado should dominate by 2-0 or more but I'm staying away from that over. Too early in the year to know what the weather will be like in CO. and the Quakes are offensively challenged this year.

The SuperClassico..AKA...the BATTLE OF L.A....ake one of PC's favorite game of the years. I don't know why this is but these two teams hate each other. In one of Beckham's limited games last year, he almost got in a fist fight in this game.
Anyways, I'm taking the over. Usually in futbol a heated rivalry relates to low scoring, but like Chelsea's win today over United at Stamford Bridge, expect the unexpected. I think this game will go over 5.
I'm on the SuperClassico
Chivas USA/LA Galaxy over 2 1/2 -120

We've been hitten left and right this week in futbol and a real good start to MLS. You guys know I hate high juice but I am rollin this play today.
1.5 unit to win 1 unit on New York Red Bulls to win in regulation time.
The Red Bulls have my boy Juan Pablo Angel (pronounced AN hell) and he has had a slow start to the year. I cashed on this team quite a few times last year because they had such explosive scoring. Taylor Twellman is still out but the expansion Earthquakes are in trouble today. They won as a huge doggie at Colorado the other day and I just can't see them bulging the bag against this red bulls team on turf. New York has mastered their turf and I expect them to take it to the QUakes today.
ROLL WITH ME ON NEW YORK RED BULLS 1.5 units to win 1 at 3:00 PM CST.

Here's my card for today:
2 units on Columbus +115
The Crew are a good team and lead MLS while San Jose is an expansion that just recently got their first points of the season. The Quakes have no offense and Columbus looked very impressive to me last time out.
2 units to win 2.3 units
2 units on Galaxy over 2 1/2 -140
Beckham and Donovan are on fire and Juan Pablo Angel is due to explode. This one should hit 4 or more but I'm only going 2 units because of the high juice.
2.8 units to win 2 units on Galaxy over 2 1/2
BEST BET:
Let's roll on Houston to get the win at home tonight. No way the Dynamo (defending champs) keep sliding and this home game is just what the doctor ordered. Houston in a rout
3.3 units to win 3 units on Houston.
GL today.

Man, I really love the Houston play as well. I went larger on it but I'll leave my unit total posted alone on it. The Dyname are 2 time defending champs and have had a very intense week. I just read up on the team and most of the players are saying all the right things.
"We've been here before"
"Very intense week of practice"
Etc. Etc..but, I'm tellin ya, I'm ecstatic the Dynamo started so slow. The line for this game is ridiculous. Colorado has a win over San Jose and a win over DC united..combined record of 3 wins 1 draw and 8 losses. Overall Colorado is 3 wins 0 draws and 3 losses...so even though they sit atop the division, it's deceiving for this early. Houston is starting to wake up.
Just some info..but Houston should really put it to em tonight.

Just read through the thread..thanks for the props...by all means fellas, don't hesitate to put up your own plays. The more we got on futbol the better. Sherlock..you gotta follow Toronto FC...they are a good team to bet on at home. One of the best if not the best venue is in Toronto. Galaxy's new home depot center is nice as well. Worst venue: KC's temporary stadium that will be finished for 09. Anyways, good to see some futbollers in GP...
Be back on the Thursday night FSC game on channel 728.
Got a GOW on Saturday
IS the EPL really over? what am I gonna do Saturday and Sunday mornings until the table re sets in August? MLS needs to move their games up to accomodate those of us that need some action before our golf game.

PC. Big fan of TFC here. My friend's who live in T.O. have season's tickets. My move to Ottawa prevents me from catching a game, but I"m due for a visit, so I'll be grabbing some ticks. Big immigrant population in T.O. Italians, Portugese, Greeks, and they are loving this team. I'm glad they're scoring this year. Last year was a tough one on TFC.

Let's try to keep it up. This is a tough game tonight between two teams that really don't like each other..here's a few "snippets" from the soccernet.article about the rivalry:
RSL's first-ever win came at Colorado's expense back in 2005. Then there were the antics later that season of Colorado's Pablo Mastroeni, who earned his Ph.D. in taunting following a win over Real -- a display that drew the wrath of RSL owner Dave Checketts. Real got some revenge on the final day of the 2007 regular season when it traveled to Dick's Sporting Goods Park and defeated the Rapids, 1-0, a result that knocked the home side out of the playoff race.
But this Thursday, there is a bit more at stake. The victor will assume sole possession of first place in the Western Conference. That both teams possess losing records at the moment is a testament to the West's mediocrity, but that fact won't stop the winner from claiming even more bragging rights.
and this important note..hell I had never heard of the "Rocky Mountain Cup"
The Rocky Mountain Cup
This trophy goes to the winner of the season series between the teams, and while Colorado claimed ownership the first two years it was contested, RSL's aforementioned victory in 2007 saw it win the cup for the first time. With two of this year's three meetings taking place in Colorado, a home victory will go a long way toward sending the trophy back to the Rapids
Here's my take:
We went against Colorado on the road @ Houston and hit a 4**** game of the month. I love bad teams in all sports (Royals, Chiefs fan--nuff said, well except for my Jayhawks$$$$$$$$$$$ROCK CHALK>>>) and usually these two are cellar dwellers or middle of the road. Frankie Adu left RSL last year and they thought it would kill the team. I think it's funny that two teams from utah and Colorado have an "intense" soccer rivalry as the writers at soccernet put it. (can you see I'm bitter I didn't get to do USA correspondance for CONACAF). But this game is tough to cap. I said last week that Colorado plays much better at home and I'm gonna stick by that. Here's both teams records in spots:
RSL:
...On the road: 0-3 and outscored 8-2
...Scored 17 goals in 7 games total...an average of 2.4 something.
Colorado:
...At home Colorado is 2-1 with wins against the Galaxy and DC united, but a surprise slip to San Jose.
...Colorado has scored 11 goals in 7 games, but have been shut out only once in 7 games getting at least one goal.
Call me crazy but I think the over is the play. I can't see a reason to not play it other than this hyped "rivalry" that would bring hard fouls and good defense. Colorado does well manipulating the ball at altitude as well so I'm going to double dip. More to be safe and split than to try and hit both. The logic is Colorado and the over..one of em might slip, but I like both enough to risk it .
2 units on Colorado over 2 1/2 -110
2 units on Colorado -115 ML to win in Regulation time.
.5 units on draw +220 (to cover side action, will not count on record)
GL tonight.

as predicted, split last time out but should have gone 2-0.
Here's my card for today.
two dog plays at 1 unit each:
Kansas City Wizards +240
Houston Dynamo +210
Wizards and Dynamo are both very underrated. The Kansas City side has one of the best defense in MLS with two national team members anchoring left back and center back. The Dynamo are two time defending champs and Chicago has been on a roll. But Houston excels against superior teams and I really do think Houston will steal one today.
BEST BET:
Chivas USA +100 to win in regulation time over DC united. DC has been terrible this year and Chivas is coming off a loss. Chivas USA is a very good home team and I expect them to come out attacking today. They play a lot of high pressure runs and utilize the counter attack very well. I think Chivas is going to win by at least 2 goals today.
2 units on Chivas USA +100
BEST BET:
New England/San Jose over 2 1/2 -105.
THe Quakes got 2 goals against Columbus and almost pulled the upset. But true to form as an expansion team, their defense let in 3 and they lost in the last 30. The Revolution are the Buffalo Bills of MLS making the finals 4 years out of the last 5 and not winning the title once. New England will lay the wood to San Jose today and might cover the over by themself. But I like San Jose to get at least one, and since I think New England will win, I have to take the over.
2 units on New England over 2 1/2 -105
GL today.

Great job last night PC, I rode all the side plays (can't get totals).
I still think it sucks that if there is a draw (KC match I think), then you lose your $...esp when there is not a draw option (there is for matches in ENG, but not MLS). So the book keeps all the $ on a draw then (when not given the +/- 0.5 goals)? Doesn't seem right.
Congrats.

Nice pick takis, I agree. That home stadium is tough to score in..(for both teams..remember that 600 minute goalless streak last year for TFC?)
Anyways..I'm releasing a side play:
I like Toronto +100 to win tonight in 90 minutes. As Takis pointed out, the boys can defend their own pitch and that's a trend we saw last year. The fans are rambunctious and they love throwing the crepe paper at the corners. Anyways, Toronto has more talent this year in the midfield to distribute and DC's defense is pretty weak. I agree with Takis's under but am only playing Toronto. They are due for an explosion and this might be the game against a DC team that has been giving up the bacon but can't buy the pig. (translation, they give up the goals, they can't score to save their life)
I expect a Toronto 1-0 result
2 units on FC Toronto +100 (AKA juice free)
USA SOCCERUSA SOCCER - May 21

We're gonna ride on the Dynamo tonight. We hit on them against a better team at +210 @ Chicago. I said it last week, and I'll say it again, San Jose is an expansion team that can't score. Houston is the two time defending champ for a reason. This line is a joke and I have to ride on the Dynamo as they continue to march out of the cellar and towards the top of the rankings. Keep riding them until the linesmakers catch up. I capped this game at Houston -150 ML for the 90 minute line but it's a gift at +110 in my opinion. Maybe the keeper and the coach get a draw for the Quakes, but I'll take Ching and that Houston defense to get us the result.
2** Houston +110 tonight at 9:30 CST on the Duece.

2-0 Houston

I am playing 4 today..a lot, but I love the card:
Columbus over 2 1/2 +115...2 units
Columbus +100...2 units
The crew are tied for first and play great at home. They are also one of the MLS leaders in scoring. New England is a strong team and I expect more scoring although both teams are built on defense. Columbus 2-1 or 3-1
Chivas/Colorado over 2 1/2 +110..3 units
We've hit on Colorado and Chivas over a few times this year. Chivas is finding their range and Colorado always scores at home. THIS IS A BEST BET
KC/La Galaxy under 3 -110..3 units
Another BEST BET. Galaxy are scoring big time and the lines are starting to go up on their totals. It's a 3 goal line meaning we need 4 to beat me. Sure Landon and Becks are on my fantasy team at soccernet.com. But they aren't the reason I'm in the top 50 out of 22,000 players. It's because of my defense, which has Jimmy Conrad and Jack Jewsbury, two national team members, KC has the ability to stop Buddle, Becks, and Donovan. The Galaxy defense is weak and if this game goes over, it will be the Wizards who win and tip the scale to 4. But I'm tellin ya, KC plays great defense, they are my home town favorite, and I follow them and their style of play. If I have one bitch to their decent start to the season it's the tendency to bunker in and play defense with the lead. Tonight, at the Home Depot Center, they will definetely do this if they score first because Conrad and Jewsbury are great at controlling out of the back. I'm really hoping for a KC victory but I see LA scraping out a 1 or 2 nil win.
GL TONIGHT>>>>I got more bets this Saturday than the last 3 days combined..UFC, MLS, MLB, pickridin BP, NBA, I'm looking at hockey..it's nice$$$

This is a tough game to cap between the home side New England Revolution and visiting DC United. Both teams are traditionally the pride of the East but I'm looking at a different angle. DC is a slow starter and are in the cellar. They can't seem to score and are allowing goals at a horrific rate (20 goals in 10 games..AKA 2 a game) and have only scored 10. That gives them a per game average of 3.3 in games played this year.
The Revs have allowed 11 and scored 13..proving they play ball control and are much more patient waiting for their stud Taylor Twellman to come back at full strength. Tonight's game is a side play for me. I'm rollin on the home side New England to win in regulation time. They have a great keeper in Reis and the most telling stat or trend I could find:
Dig this..DC united and MVP Luciano Emillio have scored a total of 1 goal in 5 road games this season. Are you kidding me? 1 goal in 450 minutes of away soccer. And now your playing the Revs at home who have to prove they can win at home (2-2 with two blowout losses to Chicago and Houston) and this is a team that can make that happen.
New England -140 2 units
2.8 to win 2 units
New England under 2 1/2 -110
2.2 units to win 2 units.
I'm playing both..I think I hit both but I like both plays based on the info I provided above. Let's see if Emilio breaks out of his funk and screws me. I don't think it happens, but it's the only way I see losing both plays. Plan on hitten both though.
prediction:
new England 2-0

Way too high a line for two teams at the bottom of the standings. San Jose just beat Houston at Houston (which shocked me) and has played very competitively. They have the Galaxy's former keeper and he is a great defender of the net. I fully expect him to win this game for us. However, the Real offense is really stumbling so I'm banking on the better keeper and the team with more mojo.
1 to win 2.75
BEST BET:
Chivas/Columbus under 2 1/2 +100
3 units to win 3 units
Chivas/Columbus draw
.75 unit to win 1.85 units
Columbus +190 ML
1.5 units to win 2.75 units
I like Columbus and the under. Chivas has been very good in their last 2 out, but Columbus is a good team and might be for real. I think the pub and the experts are expecting a high scoring affair, I go the opposite. Columbus will try to steal the first goal and then bunker in. I got my draw bet as a "back" bet which I won't count on my record so don't play it if you don't like draws. Anyways, The Crew are 6-2-1 and have good success playing in LA. Chivas might be overlooking this game and thinking Flores will carry them to another win tonight.
Dynamo under 2 1/2 -115
2.3 units to win 2 units
Houston defense at home. Won't get embarressed again (2-0 loss to the expansion Quakes) and will play their trademark D.
Dynamo -110
1.65 units to win 1.5 units
See above.
Lots of plays..good luck if you ride, I'm expecting big things out of my MLS and MLB card tonight.

I'm on one of my favorite plays in MLS
Houston under 2 1/2 +105
We absolutely banked on Houston and the under last time out. I'm on the Under again as DC united will have trouble with Houston's defense. Brian Ching is the only scoring option I've seen for Houston and if there's one thing I could say about DC at home, they play better defense. A dicey play but Ithink I'm on the right side.
Houston under 2 1/2 +105
2 units to win 2.1

My team is on national TV today and I'm going 5 units on the game. (Big night for me as I got a 4**** on NBA game as well)
Anyways...tonight here's my card with the rare double dip on side and total.
3 units to win 3.45 (+115) on Houston Dynamo over the New England revolution.
2.2 units to win 2 units on under 2 1/2.
I still believe in Houston's trademark defense, but I haven't seen much of it on the road. Back at home against the Revs, we should see a very low scoring game. New England traditionally struggles at Houston and this year, their road goal production is ajoke. I'm on Houston to win tonight either 1-0 or 2-0.

Didn't do so hot last time out, just got back from the CWS but I'll update after this game is over.
Tonight I'm on New York to go under for 3 units and a two teamer of San Jose over and New York Under.
Here's my lines:
San Jose over 2 1/2 -105 and new York under 2 1/2 -115 (first time in a while both teams had same juice on a total play)
1 unit to win 2.9 units on the parley
3.45 units to win 3 units on New York under.
The New York game is a hard one to cap. I still think the team's offense has issues and they do have trouble scoring during stretch's of the season. However, New York's defense is taking shape and has really done well latley. Let's see what happens.

A great game tonight. Chicago comes off a huge home loss and now have lost two straight. DC Chivas USA is finally starting to get healthy and although they lost to the expansion Quakes, there's a reason they are favored in this game. I just read an article on soccernet that claims Blanco gets fouled a lot as a means to stop his offense..BS..the dude is a piece of work on the pitch and one of the dirtiest players in the game. I find it ironic Brian McBride might play with him in Chicago after receiving an elbow in Azteca that knocked him out of a World Cup.
Anyways, this is a great game tonight. I think your going to see both sides attacking and that's why I'm on the over. Even though both teams play great defense, Chicago has been exposed at left back and that's where Chivas is strong.
I fully expect the team to fall behind to equalize tonight and force the issue. This game could go 4-2 or 0-0, depending on the level of play. With all the natural rivalries (Blanco used to beat Chivas Guadalajara when he played for Americas in the Mexico Premier league)and now he plays against their MLS club, DC Chivas USA. Some interesting Stats:
Chicago is 0-4 with Blanco against Chivas
Both teams got blanked last time out with Chicago being the league leader in fewest goals allowed.
This game is tough to cap but I'm going to take a stab at the over and small on side.
2.1 unit to win 2 units on over 2 1/2 (-105)
1 unit to win 1.2 units on Chivas USA (+120) in 90 minutes
.5 unit to win 1.1 unit on the draw (+210)
I really think we're gonna see a 1-1 game or 2-1 Chivas. Good luck, as always, I don't count my draw line on the record, it's a back side bet.
GL tonight.

All right, we got a great lineup tonight and I'm going after it:
Toronto/KC
I'll play the under as KC has trouble scoring on the road and Toronto just might be the best home field edge in MLS>
2.4 units on KC/Toronto under 2 1/2 -120
NOTE: EARLY START DAY GAME
Houston/Colorado
I"ll play the dog and ride on Houston (my favorite team to bet on) even though Ching is with the national team for the all important 2nd leg against Barbados.(For those that follow the national team I know you hear my sarcasm. No way we lose with a high school team on aggregate after the 1st round 8-0 thrashing). Anyways, Houston has some capable talent up front without Ching and their defense is usually one of the best in MLS
1 unit on Houston +200 in 90 minutes
Columbus/LA Galaxy
The Crew started hot but have fallen. The Galaxy started cold and now sit atop the WEstern conference. Could be a surprise but I"m going to lay off the side and play the over. National team committments for Copa qualifying is going to hurt both teams, but I'll take my chances and expect to see 3 goals.
2.9 units (-145) to win 2 units on LA over 2 1/2

We got the expansion Quakes taking on DC United in the East. Big game for DC...Quakes continue the expansion blues.
LIne is -167 with a generous get back of 400+ on the Quakes Total is 2 1/2 over -150 get back +130
What a difference between the two teams. United has scored 21 goals and allowed 24 in 13 games. (3.46 goals a game scored)
San Jose has scored 9 and allowed 17 in 12 games played. (2.16 goals a game)
Average score per game: 2.81 goals a game.
Use this formula every time if you want to see what the scoring average is. I don't base my total decisions on this, but it's my starting point and then I put in the factors that might change the game. (I have a lot..some examples: coaching changes, time of the season-early,mid,late, Weather, Pitch condition, National team callups, Depth, Galies, Injuries, etc.)
Anyways, this game could be a huge payout juice wise on the dog or the side, but I just don't see a reason to play either dog play. San Jose is a respectable 2-4-1 on the road including a win against supposed league power Chicago. Chicago is 4-3 at home but here's an interesting stat, in those 7 games they scored 16 goals..damn near 2 1/2 a game. No trend on the Quakes as they either win big or get blanked.
Looking at recent play, both teams are on streaks. DC has not lost in their last 4 games and have played exceptionally well with their team back at full strength. San Jose has done okay, but trends to play well against the good teams in the league and not so well against bottom feeders. They have one of the best keepers in the game in Joe Cannon. But the poor bastard is getting hit left and right with pot shots as the defense has yet to jell behind new and talented coach Frankie Jallop. (Former skip of the Galaxy). But you know what fellas, I just can't pull the trigger on the dog or draw line.
I'm going to go a 1 unit two teamer:
1Unit on DC United -167 (90 minute) and over 2 1/2 -150
I checked the conditions, injuries, and call ups and there's plenty in the tank for

3-1 DC United $$$$
And the funny thing is...0-0 at half. If you can ever get it, take 2H overs in the MLS..I would bet that more than 63% of the goals are scored in 2H of MLS.
Anyways..congrats if you hit it.
See ya next week for MLS

The Battle of Texas takes center stage..
I got one play tonight:
I'm on the Houston Dynamo to win this thing in regulation time. (-130ish) Houston is 2-2-2 in their last 6 games in MLS, but there is reason to back them tonight. They own Dallas with a 5-1-4 mark in 10 games against them. Dallas is bringing in a new coach who plays a contrasting style from the departed coach. That spells disaster against a Houston Dynamo team that is predicated on defense and counters. When Houston is playing you know I like the unders but "derbys" like this one usually spell an over. I'm staying away from the total and I'll go after my boys from Houston to win this one...albeit with high juice.
2.6ish units to win 2 units on the Houston Dynamo in regulation time
GL tonight...I will have the Euro Final winning play for us on Sunday$$

SATURDAY 6-28
I've got my best bet on the BPC service card but here are 2 more:
1.) Two team parley:
Chicago Fire -160/Chivas USA -111
Risking 1.5 units to win 3.25 units
Fire will roll the Quakes at home and Chivas is a good home team who under Preki, are finding the net. I think both games are worth a parley investment but I won't release the high juice as a single play on either. I like both to win and Chicago should really slam San Jose Today. I could see New York stealing a point and tie against Chivas but I like the extra payout as I can almost guarantee Chicago rolls the Quakes tonight.
2.) Toronto under 2 1/2
THat good Toronto defense is still in effect and their offense has been slow. A little bit of a shady line but I'm no buying it. Toronto's defense can hold em down.
2 units on Toronto under 2 1/2 +100

Back to it.. let's break the 3 game losing streak:
You know the team at 9:00 PM CST..you already know the bets.
1 unit on Houston +175 in 90 minutes
2 unit on Houston under 2 1/2 -125
Just read my posts above on Houston. I personally think they play great defense and other than the occasional upset, I'm not impressed with Real Salt Lake. I'll take my chances on the split but expect to hit both. The Dynamo have been very bad on the road recently but this is a team they can get healthy against.
GOOD LUCK TONIGHT

Super classico:
If you want my Game of the Year total in the Superclassico tonight on ESPN2 PM me...I got 5 units on this total:
Chivas/Galaxy on the duece
Regular play:
kansas city under 2 1/2 -130
The Wizards just lost in the quarters to the Seattle Sounders in the US Open Cup. (AKA the Lamar Hunt Open). This team is obviously not clicking offensively, but the defense is again stellar led by Jimmy Conrad. The New York Red Bulls are putting it together but no way these two combine for 3 tonight unless we see a red or two.
2.6 units to win 2 units on KC under 2 1/2
1 unit on the Red Bulls +175 in regulation time. Kansas City is reeling and this is the time to fade them. They are a great 2nd half of the season team but I don't see them beating New York with their pathetic offense.
1 unit to win 1.75 units'

Superliga Picks tonight:
I like DC United to take care of Atlatata out of Cancun. This Mexican power has fallen on hard times and DC is clicking
2.4 units to win 2 units in regulation time
I like the Dynamo to stay under the number of 2 1/2. Chivas Guadalajara can score but the Dynamo do a great job in this tourney on defense.
2 units to win 2.3 units (+115) on Houston under 2 1/2.
On a small losing streak> I'll update my record sometime this week. Do love these two plays though and expect to sweep.

Early Game:
Call it a sucker bet but I'll back New York to win on the road against the worst team in the league.
2 units to win 3.2 units (+160)
Later:
I'll take Chicago and KC to keep it under 2 1/2.
2.5 units to win 2 units (-125)

Still need to update record...here's my card for today:
Dallas +185..
1 unit to win 1.85...Cooper is staying, he's on fire, Toronto at home is money, should be one of the best games of the week.
LA Galaxy +110
I like them to punk San Jose even though the Quakes keeper used to be with the Galaxy. LA is at full strength and even with that weak ass defense, they should outpoint San Jose..I would advocate the over but the juice is just too high.
2 units to win 2.2 units

split last time out and have lost control of my record with the sporadic posts. I'll continue to post here, but my focus and time is in Europe right now with the new seasons kicking.
MLS Saturday 8/16
GAME OF THE MONTH:
Chicago/DC under 2 1/2 -115...4 units
I love this under. DC marks real well on Blanco and Chicago is having trouble scoring lately.
2nd play:
The ever popular Dynamo under at home. I'll roll Houston under 2 1/2 -120 for 2 units as well.
Summary:
Chicago fire under 2 1/2 4.6 units to win 4 WIN
Houston Dynamo under 2 1/2 -120 2.4 units to win 2. LOSS
I went 1-1 on last post, hit a little slump before that, but back in the saddle. Good luck tonight.

MLS Thursday night:
I'm on under 2 1/2 +125 in L.A. Galaxy, Chicago. The Galaxy can't play defense, but they can score. The Fire lead the leagues in GA (Goals against) defense but haven't been able to score much. Bruce Arena's first game as coach will show the commitment to defense that led to our debacle in Germany in the World Cup. This line is the wrong way. The juice should be on the under.

Starting to heat back up...EPL must be inspiring me...
MLS Saturday 8/30-
Two team parley:
LA Galaxy over 2 1/2 -155 and Toronto under 2 1/2 -115
1 unit to win 2.1 units
LOSS
2-2 LA...2-1 toronto (90'th minute goal)
Galaxy should get at least 1 and their defense is gonna allow 2. I'm expecting it to be tight. Toronto will keep it low on the road against a team they typically have trouble scoring against.
BEST BET:
DALLAS +105 @ home against Columbus.
The Crew are night and day at home vs. on the road. Dallas and KennyCooper should win this one handily. Dallas at home is a beast and playing some of the best futbol in the States. I think they should be giving juice but Columbus's record and recent home play has brought the line down. Let's roll.
2 units to win 2.1 units on Dallas
LOSS
2-1 Columbus
3rd play:
Kansas City +175 on the road at San Jose. The Wizards have been playing very well lately and are coming off an emotional 1-1 tie in which Jimmy Conrad (US national team member) scored the equalizer in extra time. As a fan of KC, I'm excited at the very real chance of getting 3 points on the road against a Quakes team that is beatable. San Jose is an expansion team (albeit an experienced one that has won the MLS title a few years ago when they were previously in the league) but this year's team is an expansion draft of the who's who of also rans. K.C. is making their annual post season push and are unbeaten in their last 7 games.
1 unit to win 1.75 units on Kansas City
LOSS
2-1 San Jose

Thursday 9-11
New York and Chivas square off tonight. Huge line on the Red Bulls the New York team on 9/11. But that's not the reason, on paper, the Red bulls should take this one but I think Chivas is gonna keep it close and either steal a point or shock with a win. I'm going to play on the under as I think they will bunker in and play a counter. Chivas would be wise to stay away from an attacking game and play counters and possession. I expect Chivas USA to make it a game tonight and I'm hoping I don't get burned late in the 2nd half. This game should stay low until crunch time and then I'm gonna sweat.
CHIVAS/NEW YORK under 2 1/2 +110
1.5 units to win 1.65 units
