San Diego Padres - 110 (at) Colorado (60-77) is 5-8 last 13 home games. The Rockies are 1-5 last six Jenning's (11-11, 5.90) starts, including a 6-5 loss at the Padres last week. San Diego (74-65) fighting for a wild card berth hits the road off taking two of three from red hot St. Louis, by a combined 17-8 in the two wins. The Padres are 11-6 last 17 road games, and 2-1 in three Germano (1-1, 6.59) starts this season. They're 4-1 at Colorado this season. Padres manager Bochy on beating the Cards, "I hope this gives us tons of momentum. We're in a situation where we need to win ballgames. This is obviously the biggest road trip of the year."

Indy vs Pats tonight The line stands at -3 and 44.5 points on the total.
We all know how great the Pats were last year going 13-2-1 ATS.
The Pats also seem to have Indy's number winning 4 straight against the Colts and 5 out of the last 6. The weather forecasts rain all day today in Foxboro even through gametime. Picking against the Pats at home seems like a risky gamble but some rule changes in the NFL may really hurt the Pats not only tonight but for the season. The Pats have been known (especially agaisnt the colts in the playoffs last year) for the physical play of their defensive backs. With the NFL cracking down on contact by defensive backs this strongly favors the Colts M. Harrison. Listening to a national sports talk show last night, a NFL handicapper reported that the consensus among his peers is that alot of games will go over early this season until Vegas gets the lines adjusted simply because of this no contact rule. I would love to take the Colts tonight as I think this will be great close game with the Colts maybe pulling it out late, however my gut says PLAY THE OVER BIG.
OVER 44.5 should be easy money even in a little rain.

TROY STATE + 12 !! Good defense at home vs overrated Mizzou adds up to a line with great value!! ( 7-5 ats for year) First NFL regular season play tonight is a no brainer for me New England Super Bowl Champ so history shows last years champ will be bad vs the line early in the year so.... COLTS +3 ( will go to 3.5 or 4 by game time) is the play!! GL!!

I'll take the Colts for even money +3. Peyton wants revenge bad, and the new chuck rule will really help Harrison and Wayne. Colts in a walk 27-20

This is what everyone has been waiting for!! I like 1 play tonight:
1) over 44 - Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. New chuck rules that refs are suppose to call this year will hurt the Pats against Harrison and the other Indy receivers. Pats losing Ted Washington in the middle will also hurt the Pats and the Colts have an average D at best, especially at LB. Brady and an improved running game should score enough and Indy's offense is very explosive.
Not betting the spread, but would lean towards the Pats due to history and being at home.
Good luck everyone!!

You should never bet on a sure thing but I can't resist this. My last NFL bet was NE ML in the superbowl (win). What bettor way to kick off this season than to start where I left off:
NE ML -180
Luck is the residue of design
Good pickings to everyone
