PC nice writeup on Oliver Perez! Truth is he may be their SECOND best pitcher on the Pirates! They have a young kid Mike Gonzalez who is their setup man( closer next year) who has been lights out since coming up mid season! He is just nasty even more so than Oliver! His stats: IP 31.1 ERA: 1.15 : 39 KO : 5 Walks! When he pitches its amazing the swings he produces! For fantasy geeks he could be a great late pick as he is being groomed to replace Mesa as the future Pirate closer!

Florida Marlins - 110 (at) New York (60-69) is 1-6 on the current home stand. The Mets have lost in Leiter's (9-5, 2.69) last four starts vs. above .500 teams. Leiter is 12-6 life vs. Florida with a 4.37 era, including 1-1 this season with a 4.15 era. Florida (66-62) is 10-4 last 14 games, including 6-2 road. The defending World Champs trail by five games in the NL wild card race. Marlin's starter Willis (9-9, 3.87) has allowed two runs or less in seven of his last ten starts. Willis has won all five career starts vs. the Mets, by a combined 23-9, posting a 1.74 era. (over this season & last) Florida is 15-4 over Mets last 19 meetings. I'm going with the Fish on this one...

My post from another board....
Weaver...yeah, I heard about that pitcher. He supposedly isn't going to do spot start and Middle relief from what I heard, but man, Oliver is the real deal. He will win 17 games next year. WRITE IT DOWN!!!
Skydivin, even with no Bonds, the over is money. Good luck though.
Hey fellas, a fantastic week again last week, finished 14-10 but hit all my bigguns and lots of pick ridin winners, and lost the small ones. Thanks for some great plays as I pick rode, 1H Minny (Takis), Edmonton CFL (takis), and some of Axd's and Imadean's baseball. Here's my card for the two early games.
DAY 24 SAN FRAN OVER 9 1/2.
Here's why:
Noah Lowry...lights out at home with a 1.88 ERA, but in 4 starts on the road this year 0-0 record with a 5.43 ERA. Last five starts for Noah all went over as well.
San Fran...33-26 on the over on the road this year, 4-2 on the over on the current road trip. Even if Barry doesnt play (Bonds usually sits on a day game after a night game)I'm still endorsing San Fran's ML leading 74-48 over record. This is day 24 for me that I've played this consecutively. For those of you interested, on an average 2.5 unit play this play that I've played daily for 24 straight days is +22.5 units in a little over 3 weeks. AND THEY SAY TREND BETS DON't WORK!!!
2 units over 9 1/2 for me.
Average Bet:
Philly/CWS over 9 1/2
Even though Brett Myers has pitched well in his last few starts, I can't see this game not going over. Philly is 4-2 on the over in their last 6 road games. White Sox are 3-0 on the over in Buehrle's last 3 home starts. Check out this amazing number on Buehrle...In 15 starts at home this year, he is a very mediocore 6-6 with 5.04 ERA. For the year, Brett Myers is 2-6 on 10 road starts with a 6.41 ERA.
The first two games of this interleague series (remember though, Philly had Burrell and Abreau healthy at the time) were 14-11 (Eric Milton the loser) and 13-10 (Buehrle the loser.) I'm playing the over in this one as well.
Over 9 1/2 for 2 units.
I have a great total play for tonight which I will release as a best bet. I'm still researching it, but I'll shoot it.
Good luck whatever your on.
My 3 teamer for early:
San Fran over, Philly over, and Philly ML +120.
Take care, back later tonight.

Take the White Sox over 9.5.
Agree with PC. One additional note--wind has just picked up in Chicago and will be blowing out around 10-15 mph to left field at game time.
post record (4-3)

Good afternoon guys, we did hit big with 50* play on Edmonton in the CFL yesterday a blow out win with Edmonton 57 Ottawa 16 sweet baby. The pass 3 days Jinks 3-0... for the year so far 7-1 baby the only lost was with Eagles losing to Steelers due to so many injuries on Eagles side or it would of been a different game and Eagles where very close too of winning.
Todays card I like 2 picks which are:
NFLX
Titans+4
Baseball
Detroit
Good Luck lets hope we can sweep tonight guys$$

Dallas -4 small lien tonight ! 7-2 preseason. PC nice call on San Fran. over again! No doubt Perez is great would win 20 games with good team! But Gonzo ( Gonzalez) will be the Bucs closer next year(not middle relief or spot starter) and could very well be the talk of the leauge. His stuff is downright nasty. Watched both all year if needed one out to save my life would pick Gonzo! Free pick for next years fantasy geeks as Perez is no sleeper anymore! GO COWBOYS!
