Daily Picks for Saturday December 8'th HOF STYLE
Let's roll boys:
Aaah..here's the card for you fellas today in college hoops. Play em if you like em, throw em away if you don't:
Big XII:
I'll take Texas -22 over Rice in Houston. The Longhorns are a top 5 team and I've been cashing on them all year. Until hte public notices, Texas is very good value. DJ Augustine and AJ Abrams are a dominating 1/2 punch and I can't see the Rice Owls being able to contain them on defense. The Owls can score, but they won't be able to stop the big physical Horns. Connor Atchley has emerged as yet another 7 footer who can bomb from the 3 arc and it's added a new dimesnion to Rick Barne's team.
I'm rollin the Horns.
ROLL ON TEXAS -22
Big XII:
Kansas -21 1/2 over Depaul. Seems like a big number for a storied program, but there's a lot at stake. Depaul has lost it's top two scorers to the NBA. Depaul beat Kansas last year in Illinois by 16 points. The Hawks haven't forgotten that and are looking forward to this year's game. Creighton beat an inferior Depaul team by 22 at the Birdcage in Omaha, Jayhawks are gonna roll by 30. Let's not forget DePaul lost 62% of it's scoring and rebounding from last year and is struggling to score. KU puts on the defensive clamps and dominates this game.
ROLL WIT ME ON KU -21 1/2
Mo Valley GOM:
I've patiently been waiting for this garbage game all week. Let's roll on Indiana State under 118 1/2 today against Ball State. Guys, this is one of the ugliest, boring games on the board today but I think it's a gold mine. Ball state is dead last in the MAC in FG percentage and 3pt FG %. Their team has 4 new starters and no proven scorer. The Sycamores of Indiana State are in the same boat. They have tons of trouble scoring and play decent defense with no proven go to offensive threat. They play good defense at home as evidenced by thier last 3 outputs, 58, 60, and 643 points. This is a tough call as both teams seem able to go over this number combined, but I think we see an absolutely boring game in the great hoops state of Indiana.
ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 118 1/2
Mo Valley:
Again, I have to take a road favorite who is desperate for the win. SIU has lost two games back to back against ranked competition. Getting throttled at USC and losing a tight one late to Indiana. I can't see SIU losing 3 straight. While UNCC is a very solid team with a big win over Wake Forest recently, I think SIU's defense will be an eye opener for Charlotte. Roll on SIU with me as they cover the 3 1/2 late from the FT line and with their great defense.
Roll with me on SIU -3 1/2
