This is what I hgave so far. If not for the Orioles I would be up about 35 units this week! Thank god fpr the Yanks and Bosox for keepoing me afloat throguh this bad streak for the Orioles.
Bedard will hold TX to 4-5 runs tonight while the ofeense explodes after being humiliated for 10 straight games. I expect a 9-4 game.

Sixth post (3-2)
Have to take the Padres -168 against the Expos.
Don't like playing these big odds, but Scott Downs (sp MON) is one of the worst pitchers in MLB in the past five years. His ERA is 8.41 with a WHIP of 2.31 in 5 starts this year. He is a last minute call up/starter because Patterson has the flu.
Also putting a bit on the over.

Here's my card for tonight:

Let's take a look at some of the numbers. San Fran is 7-3 on the over in their last 10 and 2-1 on the over in their recent series at the marlins. Atlanta is also putting up runs with an 8-2 ledger ATS on the over in their last 10. San Fran is 72-47 ATS on the over for the year. And as I've been stating, one of the hottest over teams in the history of baseball with an incredible 20-3-2 ledger on the over at home since the All Star break. (Remember this next Tuesday when the Rockies come to McCovey cove. I will be pounding the over in that series.)In 11 games started on the road this year, San Fran's hurler Kirk Reuter has a 2-3 record with an ERA of 5.40. That won't get it done against the hot hittin sticks of Atlanta. Chipper, Drew, and Furcal are all hitting over 340% since the all star break at home and Chipper has been phenomenal hitting at a 477% clip at home since July 22'nd.
For Atlanta Jaret Wright sports a 3.92 ERA in his home starts this year.
I've played this play for 20 straight days and I'm riding it again today.
3 UNITS on over 9 SAN FRAN/ATLANTA for me.
Wright vs. Reuter..if pitchers aren't going, take off the board.

It seems like a strange play with the Halo's 5 in a row over streak. But they are going against a pitcher who gives the Angel's fits. Radke in his last three starts against this team has gone under in all 3. Both teams are in playoff races and I think both bats cool down against better pitching. If Sele can get us to the 6'th, I really like our chances with Rodriquez, Percival, Donnelly, Romero, Rincon, and Nathan all available to pitch out of jams and get the job done. Both of these teams have talented middle and back end pitching staffs. The most telling number that makes me believe this is a playoff preview series...Brad Radke is 12-5 with a lifetime 1.65 ERA against the Angels.
The Angels starter Sele is equally impressive against his commen opponent sporting a lifetime record of 16-4 with a career ERA of 3.34 against the Twins.
I'm playing the under in this game as my best bet of the day.
6 UNITS on under 9 Angels/Twins tonight. Sele vs. Radke, starting pitchers don't go, it's a no play.
UPSET SPECIAL:
Colorado Rockies +135 at Florida. I watched the entire Bravos/Rocks series and the sticks for Colorado can exploit suspect pitching. I'm a big fan of the Marlins rotation, but facing Valdez tonight with their best pitcher Kennedy leads me to back to the Rocks for 2 units.

I don't like preseason much and only have bet a couple of times, but here is one I really like:
1) Vikings 1st half (-4.5) - Word here in MN is that Vikings starters will play 1st half and probably the 1st series in the 3rd qtr (according to local sports radio talk show). Vikings are a far superior team than the 49ers and starters vs starters at home, should smoke them in 1st half. Not sure about 2nd half since Vikings 2nd & 3rd team is not that good and Tice might want to look at players on the bubble to see if they make the team.
