Still haven't decided on a side yet, leanning towards the over just because I feel "Joe Public" is keeping the line low betting the under while the Wiseguys are putting the $ on the over. Right now I just have a small play on "Tails" just cuz it pays better and will probably have some posts on 1st quarter line and a second half play for larger plays

Finally some closure on a good football season. I'm taking a rest after this game until the NCAA tourney. Mrs Goat wants me back....... The Stupor Bowl should be a close game. NE seems to not close games when you think they could. I don't think much of Carolina's offense BUT 7 points is too much for me to give up so: I'm going with NE -250 ML pick. well, this one was a tough one on me. anytime i played the pats i won, and any time i play against the panthers i lose. Although I do believe the Pats are the best team in football right now, but I can't see this as anything but a close, low scoring game. Of course now that I've said that, the score will probably be high as hell. Take the panthers and the 7 points and also look for the game to stay under 38.

It's finally here, and i still can't get myself to make a big play on the game.
7 points is too much to give in this game, although i do think the pats are superior. Even though i hate teasers, i think that a 2 team 7 point teaser is the safest way to make some cash on this game.
Car +14 and over 30.5 my book pays 750 on 1000 so it seems like an easy play to me.
A few thoughts on props as well.
stephen davis over 14.5 yards- longest run (yes, he's healthy)
steve smith- over 5.5 receptions
steve smith touchdown? yes +180
I hate props and i hate teasers, but i'm betting both because this game is so damn hard to read. Good Luck and bet small so you can enjoy the game.

I got both NFL lines over a week ago and they have both since moved 0.5 each. I'd suggest buying the Under to 38.0 but -7.0 looks safe to me for NE.

the superbowl is not an away game, there is no home team advantage, your point isn't really valid if u think about it. I personally think that they will pick on terry cousin, and hes going to give up some big plays. I'm playing the pats -7, but not postineg it as a pick.

Well, we had a strong Saturday with posted UT (-9 1/2) and Northern Iowa +11-12ish) both covering in conference specialtys. Lost the six teamer though.

, I'm back to my winning ways. My thanks to the Mavs for blowing a 20 point lead and costing me my 6 team parlay!!!! Anyway, my overall record is now 23-26-1 and my Best Bets are 7-5. NFL
Patriots (-7) Best Bet and Over (37.5)
The Patriots will spread out the Panthers with 3 and 4 wide sets and throw all day (see Tennessee vs. Panthers) against the weakest part of the Panthers defense the secondary. The Panthers CB's aren't going up against Stinkston and Trash from the Eagles this weak. On the other side of the ball, the Pats will stop the run and force Delhomme to beat them. Not going to happen. Bellichek will completely confuse him and force him into turnovers. Also, historically Super Bowls played after a week break turn out to be blowouts. This is because the better team has more time to figure out every weakness of the other team and exploit it. Another sleeper of a Super Bowl. Bring on the commercials!!!

i have made the decision to go thru with my new service with a few modifications. it will not be done thru my new website, which i will release in a few weeks. my website will deal with basic fundamentals, tips, money management tips and advise, and line movement study..with columns from any of you that would like to participate....all free.. i do have at least 3 assocites that will be a part of my team. it will be a very time-consuming task...but i feel now, that with the help of my team, we can make this work. never once was i concerned with the quality of picks which we will give out. these picks will include all my "inside" play games that i receive.my "picks from above" as i like to call them...usually 1-2 hours before gametime. i will not charge per pick, instead , i have decided to go with a "monthly" type of arrangement...with the first month coming at you at a very, very reasonable price...certainly nowhere near what you will be able to make from these picks. as i said a few days ago....if i do not win for you after the first few months....i will quit....simple as that. i know the haters will come out and bash me...im ready for that.....i see what kind of respect atrain has received.
this service will be run thru my email list.and then thru a seperate email address..there will be
1-2 great, well researched picks earlier in each day, then possibly a later day pick released....and then of course...any inside plays that i receive...and you all know what these picks have been doing....13-1 since i started sharing them with you good people. i cant guarantee you will win every one of these, but you will win most.
once you are in my address book.and signed up...you get the picks..simple as that...no waiting around all day on the board, no secret hints, etc...i have always respected the CBS message board in the mostpart, and i think i have won the respect of most of you.
so its very simple....you want to win big....try me out....if you dont feel your getting your money's worth ...quit me...simple as that.
football was good, nba has been great, cbb very good, nhl very good, and i can tell you this....i kick butt in baseball...and so does one of my associates.
