The Huskers come into today's game just like the Buffaloes. A win, and they are bowl eligible. The Huskers snapped their five game skid with a 73-31 whipping of Kansas State in which Joe Ganz threw for 510 yards and seven touchdowns in his second start. Colorado's defense has been average all year long, and it appears the Husker offense has hit its stride. The Buffaloes are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0, and are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. Nebraska wins this one on the road by seven today.
Colorado State -3
Wyoming shutout the Cowboys last year at home, 24-0. Revenge is on the minds of the Ram players today. They come off a tough three point loss at New Mexico, and take on the reeling Cowboys today. The Cowboys are coming off a 35-10 loss at home at the hands of BYU, and are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a double digit loss at home. They are also 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0. They haven't covered in their last four away from home, while Colorado State is 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0. Rams by 10 today.
Texas A&M +6
A&M is looking for its first win since mid October, but it hasn't been for lack of effort. The Aggies have played their last three games against Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri, and you know where they are ranked. It will be a heavy dose of tailback Jovorskie Lane today against this Texas defense. Lane tied the Texas A&M record for career rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns, getting his 44th rushing and 45th overall against the Tigers. Texas, meanwhile, lost to A&M last year 12-7 in a poorly offensive game played on both sides. Look for this one to be low scoring, and to go to the home team by a field goal.
LSU -13
LSU is on top of the world, once again. They are atop the AP and BCS polls, and they earned their first outright division title with Saturday's 41-24 win over Mississippi. They win today, they win in the conference title game and they will be playing for the national championship. In their way stands Arkansas, who runs with McFadden and Jones all day and all night long. Unlucky for them, the Tiger defense is stout against the run. Look for LSU to put away Arkansas early in this one.
Hawaii -2.5
WAC title on the line. Undefeated season on the line. The stakes can't get any higher than tonight's Boise-Hawaii contest. An impressive victory over Boise State could possibly send the Warriors into the top 12 of those standings, earning them an automatic, at-large BCS bid. Colt Brennan is expected to start after being in for just two plays in their 28-26 win at Nevada last Friday. Brennan was still not healthy after being knocked out in a 37-30 victory over Fresno State on Nov. 10. Brennan, who has completed 69.1 percent of his passes for 3,237 yards with 28 touchdowns, needs one TD pass for 122 in his career to become the all-time FBS leader. Hawaii is No. 1 in the country with 48.0 points per game and third at 523.9 yards per contest, and will roll over the Broncos at home today.
