    1000 DIME SUN BELT

    LOCK OF THE MONTH

Troy St -12 over Middle Tenn State

The Troy Trojans close out their season with games against Middle Tennessee and Florida Atlantic, and a single win would guarantee them at least a share of the Sun Belt title. A shocking 34-24 loss at home to Louisiana-Lafayette in the Raiders’ last game makes it unlikely they will get a bowl bid. They are done. Their season is done. Troy at home is tough enough, and now they get a Raiders team that has mailed it in for the season. Get this : the Trojans have beaten all five conference opponents they have met this season, covering the spread each time. The Trojans are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games on grass, and will dominate the Raiders at home tonight.

THREE 500 DIME HOOPS BEST BETS

Oregon -3.5 over Saint Mary's Ca

Indiana State -13 over N Illinois

    UCLA -4.5 over Michigan State

    Oregon

The Ducks are led by Taquan Porter, who has shined in the first few games of the season. Scoring 66 points through four games, he has paved the way for a perfect 4-0 start. The Ducks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as a favorite of 0.5-6.5. They are also 9-2 ATS in their last 11 against the West Coast Conference. The Ducks are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite, while their opponent St. Mary's is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog. The Gaels are 1-7 ATS in their last eight non-conference games, and will lose by double digits tonight.

    UCLA

Even without Darren Collison, the Bruins are clearly a better team than Michigan State. UCLA is 5-2 SU and ATS their last seven against the Big Ten, and 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite. The Spartans are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as an underdog of 0.5-6.5, and will have trouble defending UCLA's big men in the paint. UCLA is clearly the better team, with or without Collison, and will roll by double digits over the Spartans today.

    Indiana St

The Sycamores are led by guard Marico Stinson, a 6'3 guard out of Memphis, Tennessee. His team is 11-5 ATS in their last 16 non-conference games, and are playing a Northern Illinois squad that is 1-5 ATS in their last six non-conference games. Stinson leads the team at 13 PPG, and will score over 20 as the Sycamores roll over the Huskies tonight in a blowout.

Michigan State +4.5 is my pick for the day! Did anyone see the games last night.... UCLA looked good in the first half against a lackluster Maryland team that will be lucky to make the tourney this year. The Spartans played a tough game against Mizzou in Kansas City which was basically a Mizzou home game. They handled the pressure well and should have won by more than the 3 pts.- the refs really tried hard to give that game to Mizzou!

The Spartans have three talented big men that offer different attributes. Suton really shined last night and I see more of that coming tonight. Neitzel and the youngsters are tough as nails in the back court. Three very talented freshman bring a lot of depth! This will be a close game and I think Izzo and the gang will pull out a tight one!

    Good Luck!

Drew Neitzel missed shootaround today, was in bed and feeling pretty awful with flu-like symptoms. He will play against UCLA.

So what does that mean for tonight? Probably 33 points for Neitzel.

Latest update from ESPNU: Game time decision. Line has moved from 3.5 to 5 !!

If Neitzel can't play, the Spartans could struggle tonight! Carefull on this one though, because he's been like Jordan when he had the flu before! Last year he went for 33 against Ohio St. and Greg Oden at Ohio St. with the flu! Almost pulled the upset on the road!
