Celts cashed easily last night....Like I said, I will not be making a habit of that!!!

Will be heading out to the Bruins game vs Montreal tonight...Haven't been to the B's is a very long time!! I will be on them, just not sure how much! Waiting for the "expert" opinion of our very own puck-man Takis!!!

Looking at some football tonight as well...WV at -17 is my lean for now and will jump on them in the First Half too!! Looking for them to crush the Cardinals early!!

    Be back later!!

Louisville played Syracuse at home and was down 21-7 at half and lost the game 38-35.

WV played in Syracuse, led 31-7 at half and won the game 55-14.

Syracuse is the only team both have played.

Since WV loss to South Florida, they won at Syr, at home vs Miss St and again at Rutgers. In these three games, they averaged about 26 points in the first half, while giving up an average of just over 5.

Louisville's last 3 were @ home vs Pitt, at UCONN and at Cincy. They averaged about 12 Points in the first half, giving up an average of 7.

West Virginia is a much more powerful team (IMO) and knows they need to win the rest of the way. At home, with revenge on their mind after last years loss which featured Six fumbles, blown pass coverages and special teams gaffes contributed to Louisville's 44-34 win and ended the Mountaineers' 14-game winning streak.

West Virginia has one of the top turnover margins in the country this season and its improved defense is coming off its best showing of the season in a 31-3 win at Rutgers

Now, The Cardinals have scored 44 points in each of the past two games against West Virginia, with Brian Brohm averaging 315 yards passing yards. However, this is against a WV defense that has improved from an embarrassing 109th against the pass last season to fourth this season, allowing 82 fewer yards per game.

The Mountaineers’ offense is among the best in the nation this year and is largely responsible for the team’s 8-1 record. It ranks seventh, averaging 40.9 points per contest, and has outscored the last three opponents by a combined 124-30.

Slaton and White destroyed Louisville’s defense last season. Slaton rushed for 344 yards and six TDs, while White threw for 222 yards

West Virginia has won and covered in two of the last three games against Louisville. The last two contests between these teams finished over the total.

The Mountaineers have covered in seven of their eight games this season, while the Cardinals are 3-4 against the spread in their last seven contests.

I am waiting for the first half line to be posted and I'll get back to you!

West Virginia has been holding opponents to lower scores as of late and Louisville is not the same high scoring team they were in the last few years. I think tonights game will end up somewhere in the 50's.

West Virginia / Louisville under 64

Also I agree with Takis's pick tonight.........

    Detroit Pistons - 1

Went 2-1 last night. I wont complain about any kind of win no matter how small.

Sitting at 12-8 in NBA so far.

    Charlotte +4 (Loss)

    Charlotte/Philly Under 189 (Win)

    Memphis -1 (Win)

    For tonight I like

    Detroit -1

Dallas -7 1/2 (Buy the hook bring it down to -7)

I think Dallas pays GS back for kicking them out of the playoffs last year. I see a win by atleast 10.

Messy---thats what this board should be all about...breaking down a game with quality researched info...(especially the Syracuse game)

having said that, its a shock that you're eating chalk for the 1H and Game...LOL!!!

    "My man..."

I have to say that I'm fixing to lay the points also.

A wise man pointed this out yesterday "Throw all the trends out for this game. If Louy cant tackle tomorrow...it could get ugly"

I would like to add something to this...in respect to the "backdoor cover", in this particular game...the opposite might happen.

If WV is up 15-16 points, and decide to throw in their back ups to kill the clock...well, one of the back ups, Noel Divine, is already a top 5 most explosive player in the nation. So, a "one more first down to kill the clock" might turn into 6. Just something to think about...

GL and, once again...Thanks to MESSY for being a true contributor to this game!

    W. VIRG. -17 LOUISVILLE HAS BEEN PATHETIC ON DEFENSE THIS

YEAR THATS WHY THIS LINE IS 17,W.V. MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE TO SCORE ON EVERY POSSESSION BECAUSE OF LOUSVILLE'S LACK OF

A STRONG RUNNING GAME,THIS WILL ALLOW W.V. TO KEEP MORE

MORE GUYS BACK TO INTERCEPT BROHM. WEST VIRGINIA WILL PLAY

IN A BCS GAME IF THEY WIN OUT AND WILL PUT THIS AWAY IN THE FOURTH QUARTER WHICH BY THE WAY IS LOUISVILLE'S WORST

QUARTER THIS YEAR, THEY HAVE BEEN AWFUL.

    NETS -6 NBA

    UCONN -17 CBB

    OKL. -16 CBB

GOOD LUCK MORPHEUS AND EVERYONE AT GOT PICKS

TWO 2500 DIME PRIMETIME CONFERENCE LOCKS

    West Virginia -17 over Louisville

BYU -7 over TCU Horned Frogs

The Mountaineers still control their own destiny in the Big East, needing four more wins to do no worse than a spot in the Orange Bowl. It's all about QB Pat White and RB Steve Slaton, as the Louisville defense absolutely stinks. They have allowed 18 passing touchdowns this year, so expect not only Slaton to get involved but WR Darius Reynaud to be a big part of the offensive attack. You think this will be a shootout? Think again. The Mountaineer defense is ranked fourth in the country, and will completely shut down the Cardinals tonight. This is an easy win and cover at home tonight for West Virginia.

The Cougars of BYU are trying to extend their winning streak to six stay unbeaten in the conference. TCU will try to stop that from happening. BYU's last game was an impressive 35-16 win over pitiful Colorado State on Saturday. TCU should be a much bigger challenge than Colorado State was for BYU last week. The Cougars took a 28-3 lead and never looked back. Still, I believe this BYU team is up to the task and will get the job done by double digits at home tonight. The Cougars are 7-1-1 ATS their last nine at home, while the Horned Frogs are a dismal 1-4 ATS in their last five as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0. BYU by 14 tonight.

Sorry about that West Virginia play fellas....I hit the first Q, but lost on the FH, Game and Alot on the 2H....That one hurt. Oh well, I thought too much I guess! They laid the fuck down with a 10 point lead...I had only wished they lost outright at that point. I have ALOT of winning back to do so the crying stops here!!! Good night and Good luck, catch you guys tomorrow!
