I like Phoenix tonight! Seattle played and faded hard in the 4th Quarter at Denver last night. They have some talent, but they are a very young team! Phoenix's season/home opener- they'll be fired up- expect a blow out!

3 point dogs on the road, Choice is out for Georgia Tech. But, Taylor's status is the most important for this game as this team is far more dynamic as a starter. Im basing this wager on the fact that I believe Taylor starts at QB for Va Tech.
Va.Tech +2- There's no Matt Ryan down in Ga.Tech. Both top two runners out for Ga. Tech. making them one demisional,throwing? I don't think so. Not that it'll be that easy v.s. Ga.Tech's def. BUT Va.Tech gets it done.

Va Tech +2.5 over Georgia Tech
If Virginia Tech doesn't bounce back and win this game big I'll be surprised. They totally dominated the supposed #2 team in the nation last week and then collapsed in the final 2 minutes and lost the game. Now they head to Georgia with revenge on their mind from LY loss at the hands of Georgia Tech.
Two huge problems for Georgia Tech tonight. They beat Army last week. Big deal, everyone does that and now they step up and face the fastest defense they have seen all year. They lost both their starting running backs last week against Army and that really hurts because they don't throw the ball.
GT will be reluctant to put the ball in the air against the Hokies, as Bennett only averages 171 yards per game, the worst in his conference and 107th in the nation. He has thrown for just two touchdowns and three interceptions and will struggle against a Virginia Tech defense that is allowing just 214.2 yards per game in the air.
If Georgia Tech thinks that they're all of a sudden gonna stretch the field and take shots downfield on this defense, they better think again. Virginia Tech was stunned last year 38-27 as a 8 ½-point home favorite and don't think they won't remember that tonight. The Hokies had won the previous two meetings and are now 3-1 ATS versus Georgia Tech. Look for a huge win tonight.
This is the most recent news I've heard on Taylor:
QB Tyrod Taylor is "about 95 percent" according to his position coach as he tries to return from a high-ankle sprain suffered two games ago against Duke. He sat out the BC game but is cleared to play this week.
Also, Va. Tech.'s starting center is out and is being replaced by a red shirt freshman. Ga. Tech's #1 and #2 running backs are out for this game as well!
My gut is saying that this a more of a must win game for Va. Tech. They are adament about getting tothe ACC championship game and this game was "the launching point", as one writer put it, for last years team. I think it happens again this year. I don't see the rambling wreck from Georgia Tech being able to move the ball on Va. Tech's defense. They are tough as nails!
I'm counting on Beamer keeping his boys fired up, Taylor to move the ball with his feet, and Va. Tech's defense to shut down Ga. Tech's offense.

Georgia Tech -2.5 vs VT.. The hokies come off a devastating last minutes loss to BC after a completely one sided game... VT's loss was one that can cripple your team and have your players hanging their heads all week. Now they have to get up and travel for another tough game at GT. Both teams are well balanced on defense and this game will come down to who breaks first. I feel with Gt being fully rested coming off a bye week and the devastation VT faced last week as well as them being on the road points to the hokies breaking first...
You might want to say a " TRAP" game for booking Va.Tech. ? If you really think that, then you would almost have to pass on the game. Are you really going to play a team that can't run and won't be able to throw?Just so you can say..."I'm going aginst the public" (which as I post this is at 71% on Va.Tech.) OR maybe say "Some of OUR guys are on this game!" and look at it that way?

I really don't think that 3 posts justify that EVERYONE's on them.
I've already put a big play down on Va.Tech +3 , and a strong play on Under 40-.
* If they lose I wouldn't be surprised the way some of the games have gone in the last few weeks.....BUT that's where I'm at.

Your right PC... seen alot of Va Tech all over. I am still on it, but slightly worried now. Taylor might start, but I truly wonder how healthy he is.
If he was 100% for sure, I would still ride large on Va Tech. My guess he is plays, and he is really playing at around 85%. Lean Va Tech still, small.
