Couple of NICE plays today !

While I do lean N.E. -5- as well,I think the total might be even stronger.NE's no huddle spread off. combined with Manning & his off. NE smashed a good Dallas & Wash. Def. and will pop the Colts def. today as well. Indy can score on everyone and while I think they'd love to run it and play keep away from Brady,you can't do that while your trying to catch up !

Houston off. avg. over 500 yds of off. per game, avg. scoring @ home of 44 points v.s. a team that just fired thier coach last week and is dealing with all of this.......
* Mustangs entered the week with several injury concerns. Injuries throughout the defense, such as the loss last week of senior DE Cory Muse (lower leg), have brought on several unexpected changes this season. Some of those changes took place last week against Tulsa, with Jones and freshmen DL Youri Yenga, DE Jordan Johnson and DT Ryan Leonard all starting. In the secondary, the loss of safeties David Haynes, Bryce Hudman and De'Von Bailey to injuries the previous week in a 41-34 overtime loss to Tulane forced the coaches to move Devin Lowery from receiver to cornerback and sophomore Bryan McCann from corner to free safety.The bad news is that the Mustangs were already struggling before injuries kicked in. Now they've lost three starting safeties from a defense allowing 36.5 points and 483 total yards per game.
- Now mix in some National T.V. and you have the the makings of one BIG ASS whopping -PERIOD!

The Eagles are 6-1 with McNabb under center at home against Dallas, and it seemed that Donovan got in sync with the offense last week.
He was 23 for 36 for 333 yards and one touchdown, back to full health for the first time since his season ending knee injury last season.
Romo was awful last year against the Eagles, completing just 14 of 29 passes with one touchdown and two interceptions in a 23-7 loss on Christmas.
Enter Brian Dawkins, who is likely to play, and cornerback Lito Sheppard may suit up as well. Love the Eagles to upset the Cowboys tonight at home.

I'm so excited. Today feels like the Super Bowl.
Myself, I'm staying away from this game. I don't like giving 5 points to the undefeated Superbowl champs, but I don't like betting against NE. (it costs too much). I like the over, but 56 is A LOT of points to give with these two defenses. I'll sit back, grab a brew and enjoy the game.
