Hopefully another winning Weekend.
Georgia Tech -2.5 vs VT.. The hokies come off a devastating loss to BC last week with a last minutes loss to BC after a completely one sided game... VT's loss was one that can cripple your team and have your players hanging their heads all week. Now they have to get up and travel for another tough game at GT. Both teams are well balanced on defense and this game will come down to who breaks first. I feel with Gt being fully rested coming off a bye week and the devastation VT faced last week as well as them being on the road points to the hokies breaking first...
Rutgers +3 @ UCONN... Let me just say this first of Uconn, I am not a believer. This team has done nothing to show me they should be getting the hype they are. They'll have to run the big east table to prove me wrong... Rutgers comes off a terrible blow out we called last week @ home vs WVU... Although the score reflected a WVU beating the game had options to be much closer, take away teel's injury, weather and drop balls and it may have been a game... RU isn't as bad as they looked last week and I don't think UCONN has faced a runner like Rice.
Vanderbilt +15.5 vs Fla... I think lines makers are still giving Fla too much credit, and Vanderbilt not enough.. Fla suffered an embarrassing loss last week and seems to have players hurt all over the field. Vanderbilt may not win this game but with Fla's suspect defense this season they certainly have a good chance to cover... Take the gracious points.
Kansas -18 vs Nebraska... When I first saw this line I though wow that is high, but when you dig through the numbers its quick to see that Nebraska is just that bad... Just look at these numbers for yourself..
Nebraska allows an average of 242 rushing yards per game; 224 passing yards per game; and has a -9 T/o ratio
Kansas hasn't played the cream of the Big 12 but the teams they have played they have held them to an average of 77 yard rushing... At that pace it will be a very long game for Nebraska... Lay the points and watch Nebraska crumble
Penn St. -7 Vs Purdue... They may not have been up to playing at OHst. level but they should have no problem containing Purdue... I don't see Penn St. having a problem moving the ball on a very weak Purdue secondary. Penn St. Should get out rolling in this game and a cover should be pretty easy...
Michigan -4 @ Mich St. Two teams headed in opposite directions here... I'm staying on the Michigan bandwagon and gonna ride their talent until they prove me wrong...

We lost last week's Ugly Dog Duke/FSU by a last minute field goad by FSU but a loss is a loss. The Ugly Dog needs to go to the dog pound.........
Ugly Dog #18 Going with San Jose St +25.5 @Boise St in a day game. Boise St by 17
Also looked at South Carolina +5.5 @Arkansas but 5.5 isn't Ugly enough point-wise to have the spirit of an Ugly Dog pick. (but I'm playing it)
Good Luck degenerates and manage your money wisely. Be in it for the long haul.
2007 Ugly Dog record 8-9-1

CALIFORNIA GOLDEN BEARS
California limps home after losing a tough one at Arizona State last week, a game which they led by double digits in the second quarter.
They fell apart in the second half, and will be looking to rebound in a big way tonight. Washington State has been awful away from home, losing by an average of 32 points on the road.
Wazzou's pass defense has been atrocious, allowing 19 touchdown passes and an average of 271 yards a game.
Nate Longshore. Desean Jackson. Those two should hook up atleast once for a long score in this blowout.
Not to mention Lavelle Hawkins and Robert Jordan, and along with Jackson they may boast the best trio of wideouts in the country.
All Longshore has to do tonight is sit back there and fire it down the field. Expect fireworks tonight from Cal and a blowout to ensue in Berkeley.

2 Games I really like today...........
CLEMSON - 17
Should win by 20 points or more against a miserable Duke team
Third week in a row my Huskys have to play in lousy weather conditions. Tonight will be cloudy with wind gusts between 20 and 35 mph, thanks to hurricane Noel.
Huskys defense will hold the Rutgers running game and again we will be victorious.
GO HUSKY'S!!!!
UCONN - 1

Any of the NE people/FL people have any insight on how the miserable weather up in MA will affect FSU/BC? Dropped to 39.5 at most places, 40 at mine. I see Under is 7-3 in FSU's L10 as a dog. Just seems like with that wind/rain, gonna be hard to throw the ball, runs to keep the clock going. Anyone?
