Picks for Tuesday Oct. 23rd
I liked these plays strong enough to start the Tuesday thread. They go off Tuesday afternoon. If your bored or want some daytime action, maybe check out the UEFA champions league. I've put some time in to these plays, but have had a cold start to the Champions league. Doing well in other futbol leagues and I like these enough to post on the "big board" as I like to call it.

Matchday 3 here's what I got for ya:
Roll with me on VFB Stuttgart +160 in regulation time. They are playing Lyon (AKA Lyonnaise or as my red neck friends call them...Mayonaaaise) at home in what is a do or die match for both teams. They are in the bottom of their groups but I'm backing the home side for two reasons.
1.) Stuttgart is very good at home when their backs are against the wall, and this is no exception. The home crowd will be going off as the pressure mounts to advance out of group play. Lyon is a terrible away team in the champions league and has had very little success in the past on German soil.
2.) Fred is out for Lyon. He has a domestic ban for cards and is the catalyst of this team. It's evident when he's not playing as they haven't mustered more than 1 goal in a game he doesn't start up front.

2.0 units on Stuttgart to win 3.2 units
.5 unit on the draw line @ +220 to cover my side bet. (pays 1.1 unit)

Fenerbache/Eindhovan under 2 1/2 goals -140
Fenerbache is one of the surprise teams in the Champions league sitting atop their group after surprising results against Italian Power Inter Milan and a spirited away effort against Moska which produced a 2-2 draw.
I have side action on Fenerbache to win the group at +900 so you know these boys supposedly are over their heads. With that being said the match against Eindhovan is crucial for the table standings. I can't see Fenerbache getting blown out as they will drop to a 1-5-5 formation in the 2H to secure a point if they are tied at the 1 hour mark. This under should come in nicely although I hate the high juice.

Inter Milan -1/2 goal -107 against Moscow. I'm tellin ya, Inter is loaded and they need points badly after losing 1-nil to surprise player Fenerbache. This team can score and I think you'll see a Moscow side that plays well, but will get blown out in the 2H
