Thursday Night / 10/27 weekend

Dusted this off from when I posted probably 2 years ago. Not sure if I’m playing it yet, but figured I’d post the info. VT at home on Thursday nights has been $$.

LY they got embarrassed at BC on a Thursday night, 22-3. Guys fighting with each other on the sideline, -4 in turnovers, etc. Don’t like not having Vince Hall. Tyrod Taylor should be ready to go. I wouldn’t mind seeing them use two QB’s to mix it up, with Glennon being a pocket passer and Taylor being mobile.

I’ll either play VT or no play for me. Sunday, if you read this, any opinion?

    a few more notes.

VT 0-3 ATS at home this year

VT 1-26 SU all-time vs Top 5 teams

Since joining ACC in 2004, VT is 23-4 SU in conf games

I'd check weather tomorrow also, looks like showers all day thru game-time too.

Probably a no play for me. Not sure the VT offense can put 20 on the board, unless Defense/ST puts them in good field position. I'll just root for Macho and the Hokies.

    Good stuff Teeks.

A few things that stuck out to me on this game this evening.

BC has one of the weakest SOS indexes out of all of the top 25 teams. Army, Bowling Green, Notre Dame, NC State are exactly heavy hitters while Wake Forest is nothing more than a sub-par team.

I know that Tech has vowed NOT to loose any homes this year due to the tradegy, but I have never seen this kid Ryan play, so I am stoked to see what he brings to the table. It looks like Tech will play man to man and bring the heat for the most part so I'm not worried about Tech's Corners at all !!!

Still raining in Blacksburg from what I hear, so I think that favor's BC. The Eagles are the most experienced team in this contest while Tech brings an overall young squad. No way BC has the athletes the Hokies do, but experience ALWAYS excutes at a higher percent then youngsters. I still feel safe laying the FG and would take it up to 8.

Let's see what happens, should be a good game !!
