   Out of respect for Hilly and many other ON-THE-BRINK-OF-SUICIDE Yankee Fans I decided to start this thread so you can talk each other through this difficult time as you slowly watch the Tribe end your season!

   Look at it as group therapy....Nothing better than a bunch of depressed guys sitting around a table mad at themselves for backing a team that realistically was out of it in fucking April. I just feel bad, because the BoSoX should have atleast spit in their hand while they jerked you in August and September giving both you and your team false hope...But they didn't catch the Sox which was inevitably another LET DOWN for this beaten team!!!

   Did you really think a team with just 2, yes TWO quality pitchers was actually gonna succeed??? Guys, as President of your group, HIlly will surely give you the best website where you can purchase a nice one-size-fits-all Boston Red Sox hat!!!

   1st of all yanks make a living outta losing game 1's of these playoff series to only comeback all the time to win them! but now down 2-0? They have also history of being down 2-0 to come back and win(a's few years back?) so......

   As for only 2 quality pitchers? Is that something a redsox fan should talk about? Sox staff is a joke from front to back minus Beckett who is your only stud!

   Lets not even talk about lineups cause you only wasting this boards time!

   Now, can you honestly compare the pitching staffs here....If Beckett is their ONLY stud and we shouldn't talk about it, why is the team ERA 3.87 for the SOX vs 4.49 Yanks? 618 Earned runs vs. 724!! Or 11 blown saves for the SOx vs 21 for the Yanks....Are you really holding on to the hope that Rivera is still a reliable closer??? Look at it this way, we now have the Rivera of the old days!!

   So what you are saying is the Yanks have a comparable pitching staff??? WANG--PETTITE--???---???---???? Oh yeah, Old Man Clemens!

   As for the line-ups....Yankees have the names and an edge in the stats for hitting as well, I will give you that! But, take a close look at WHO has provided many of the inflated offensive numbers....A-ROD right?

   Well, take a look at A-ROD in the playoffs!!!! He chokes to the magnitude of the Yankees losing to the Sox after being of in the series 3-0!!!!

   Well, Yanks/Sox would be nice, but you just won't see it! Even if they tie it up tonight going with WANG again, what will happen in game 5??

   Please help me locate HILLY:

   Hilly is a die-hard Yankee fan who has not been seen since they were swept by the Indians. Hilly is suicidal and should be approached with extreme caution. He has banished himself from GotPicks out of sheer embarassment. It is believed that Hilly is also deranged, as he was seen outside Fenway Park begging to be accepted by Red Sox Nation after paying $2,500 for a ticket to last nights game!! After the game, He was kicking empty beer cups wondering how his beloved Yankees were swept by a team that the Red Sox bitched-slapped in game one of the ALCS.

   Hilly was last seen wearing a complete ensemble of BOSTON RED SOX gear, from a fitted lid to Sox flip-flops and he was caressing a "Wally" the green monster doll!! Due to his insecurity, his was also drinking a "Silver Bullet" just in case the Rockies make it to the Show!!!

   He may be in the company of one GTNP and some other GP'ers that have backed the Yanks and haven't been seen since they lost (er, were SWEPT!!!) We should all band together, continue to make money on the Sox and talk these sorry bastards off the fucking bridge....And if that means jump...THEN JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!
