4. 1-2 yesterday, hit Schalke, got screwed on Chelsea under (own goal and a terrible call on offsides)..

6. Matchday 3 here's what I got for ya:

   Roll with me on VFB Stuttgart +160 in regulation time. They are playing Lyon (AKA Lyonnaise or as my red neck friends call them...Mayonaaaise) at home in what is a do or die match for both teams. They are in the bottom of their groups but I'm backing the home side for two reasons.

   1.) Stuttgart is very good at home when their backs are against the wall, and this is no exception. The home crowd will be going off as the pressure mounts to advance out of group play. Lyon is a terrible away team in the champions league and has had very little success in the past on German soil.

   2.) Fred is out for Lyon. He has a domestic ban for cards and is the catalyst of this team. It's evident when he's not playing as they haven't mustered more than 1 goal in a game he doesn't start up front.

   ROLL WITH ME ON VFB STUTTGART +160 to win in regulation time

   2.0 units on Stuttgart to win 3.2 units

   .5 unit on the draw line @ +220 to cover my side bet. (pays 1.1 unit)

   Play #2:

   Fenerbache/Eindhovan under 2 1/2 goals -140

   Fenerbache is one of the surprise teams in the Champions league sitting atop their group after surprising results against Italian Power Inter Milan and a spirited away effort against Moska which produced a 2-2 draw.

   I have side action on Fenerbache to win the group at +900 so you know these boys supposedly are over their heads. With that being said the match against Eindhovan is crucial for the table standings. I can't see Fenerbache getting blown out as they will drop to a 1-5-5 formation in the 2H to secure a point if they are tied at the 1 hour mark. This under should come in nicely although I hate the high juice.

   ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 2 1/2 in PSV Eindhovan's home tilt against Fenerbache.

    Here's what I have for Wednesday...make sure you book early.

    Man..this is great value and I have to post it because I"m on it, but this is a brass balls play...if you got some change to lose throw a little on this:

    I'm rollin 1 unit on SHAKHTAR DONETSK to win in regulation time against Italian power AC Milan. There are many reasons I think there is great value and I'll share some of them:

    1.) No Dida in net as he works on his Oscar for best actor on the pitch.

    (He got suspended for faking injury due to a fan run by.)

    2.)_ Donetsk is no joke. They beat Celtic and Benficia two pro club championship form teams from two good leagues. (Freddy Adu the american "phenom" now plays for Benficia). They boast a strong scoring attack and have a legit shot of bulging the onion bag.

    3.)Milan is slumping. 10 points behind in Series A and no help on the way. They get Maldini, a world class defender back, but I'm hoping to God I sneak one.

    DON'T ROLL (OR ROLL AT YOUR OWN RISK) on Shakhtar Donetsk to shock the world and win in regulation time and steal one in Italy.

    1 unit to win 6.85 units

    Now on to some money makers:

    Roll with me on under 3 -145 in Werder Bermen/Lazio.

    Even though both teams are scoring and giving away goals, this game is a who's who of injuries. I just can't see the scoring going over 3 to beat us. Maybe we push, but I predict a 1-1 tie. This is a tough game to cap on sides because both teams are playing up and down futbol. But with the injuries to star scorers for Lazio and fatigue and fitness to W Brem, I have to roll the under with the big number.

    1.45 unit to win 1 unit on under 3 in Lazio @ Werder.

    I'll take a stab at Celtic to cover the +1/2 @ Benfica. The Scottish Giants are no joke and have done well. Benfica is a quality side and the Portuguese fans will be going nuts, but I like the chances of a tie or outright win.

    I knew Shakhtar was a long shot but I did post on it because I believed they had a chance. We got screwed on the Lazio under to push, you don't even want to no. Chelsea under came in for us but it very easily could have been a loser as Drogba was dragged down in the penalty box but no call for the PK..Celtic I didn't see but they got me.

    Overall:

    -1.2 units for the day but I knew I was reaching on Shakhtar. See you boys later in the week for the Premiership in England. I think you'll see nice results for the next few weeks in the EPL..hit the last one and really love the card on Sat/Sun this week with a best bet each day.

12. HEY PC thanks the only play I played today was the under 2.5 goals on Chels. as I have played soccer since I was 5yrs. old till college. I do not normally bet on soccer but I do know Man U & Chels are good teams to bet on so when I saw your post for the under I was like this guy knows what he is doing. Needless to say I followed layed 145 to make 100.

15. I try to get to the Copa every 4 years. Didn't make Germany (thank god I would have been bitter) but am shooting for South Africa in 2010. I'll tell ya what Chivas USA looked great at the end of the season but they are in serious trouble for the start of the playoffs . Chivas is banged up and has a big suspension.

    I like the Galaxy, was sporting my Becks23 in Vegas, but that team is so underachieving. I agree next year they get a Juan Pablo Angel type of player to go with Landon (get Cobi's ass out of there finally) and it will be a dangerous offense. I'm still convinced Beckham is in the top 5 in the world in delivering set pieces.

    Nice to see a futboller in the GP land. I know Teeks is a fan and our boy across the pond AquaHarry. I used to be a keeper up until high school. Never played American football but love the sport..Anyways...MLS playoffs start soon. Your boys actually had a chance against Chicago but just missed out.

    Funny story..I'm sitting in a redneck football bar here locally in PCB. (I won't name the name because they are also a client.) EPL is playing on Sunday's and it's my big play on Manchester City to beat United in the derby. I ask the owner (who I play fantasy with) if he minds changing one of the TV's to the EPL game during NFL football. The mofo throws it on the big screen...I got run in about 30 seconds..you have never seen so many 1/2 eaten chicken wings and 1/2 full canned beers in the air in so short a time.

24. Guys, I'm posting early. Gonna be on the road tomorrow. These are solid plays and based on the situation that is advancing out of group play. Some teams desperately need the win, others will be starting reserves. Bet this how I lay it out exactly and you should come out ahead for the day:

    Play #1:

    Over 2 1/2 Goals in Liverpool/FC Porto. Liverpool needs the win in a big way and needs goal differential. They will not let up and try to continue their amazing march towards advancing towards knockout phase. They were left for dead but now have a chance to advance.

    2 units to win 2.3 units on the over Liverpool (+115)

    Play #2:

    Real Madrid +130 in 90 minute time. I'm scratching my head again on this one, I got Real pegged as a heavy favorite. Let's see what happens, but like Tuesday, the easy head scratcher was a 1H winna.

    2 units to win 2.6 units on Real Madrid (+130)

    Play #3:

    AC Milan +120 in 90 minute time.

    1.5 units to win 1.65 units

    Play #4:

    Olympique Marseille to win or push. This line is -110 opposed to the +155 on the 90 minute line. This game might end in a tie so I'm betting the juice line and get a push if they tie.

27. I am playing both games today:

    I'm rollin Fenerbache +1 1/2 goals -110 for 3 units.

    I'm rollin on Arsenal to advance +125 for 1.5 units.

    Not very popular plays but Fenerbache has been solid all Champions league and actually have the lead going into this league. They will not go away easily and have made Turkey proud in the tourney.

    I just think Arsen Wenger's boys are the better side than Liverpool. They got so much drama going on in the office (American ownership, Arab buyout options, death threats) and on the pitch (4 strikers only 2 can start, all stars demanding playing time) that I will take the focused team. Anfield is one hell of a place to win, but it's invincibility has been challenged this year. Should be one hell of a game but again, I'm betting on who is going to advance..for me Arsenal +125.

    Today I love the under in barcelona...Messi, Ronaldhino, and others are hurt so with the 1-0 lead from the win at Schalke I think you see FC Barcelona Bunker in after they get a 1-0 nil lead. Should be a good game, but Barcelona still has world class defense.

    You guys know I rarely release high juice, here's why I'm trying to win 1 unit.

    First two matches:

    Chelsea won the first and drew the 2nd.

    2nd play:

    Chelsea to advance -125 WIN

    2.5 units to win 2 units (this is a weeklong bet. The 2nd leg of the aggregate will be played next Wednesday.)

    1:1 Draw..risking .5 units to win 2.35 units(+450) WIN

    Even though this game is at anfield, you can see I like Chelsea to go under and at least get a tie. I'm very excited about this game and can't wait for it. Think it will be a big defensive struggle but the better defense is behind the Big Blue wall and I think Drogba and Essien (both rested from EPL this weekend to get ready for today) will eventually punch through the Pool defense. These two teams are elite and defensive minded, but they both have world class strikers. Guys like Gerrard, Cole, Drogba and Essien are all world class, but in such a huge game (similar to the NFL conference championships) to the rest of the world, defense will rule the day. I checked the weather and it's gonna be the usual English rain and grey skys.

    Let's roll.

    Tomorrow we're going on a doggie in Barcelona/United.

31. I'm with ya Sherlock. They rested Ronaldo and others for this match. Barcelona's season, their head coach's job, and the whole Camp Nau invincibility will be put to the test on Wednesday.

    I'm rollin the best team in Europe, possibly the best club team in the world, and taking United to pull the 3 point win SU @ Barcelona.

    I love Barca's keeper, he's the 2nd best in the world in my opinion behind Peter Cech (if you watched the Chelsea game he had 2 world class saves). But United is bringing the strike force. We're going to see Rooney and Tevez up front with Ronaldo directing the attack with a score of talent out of the midfield. The defense is healthy and Ferdinand will mark the Barcelona big guns. Ronaldhino is preoccupied with his transfer to AC Milan and we're going to see the upset today. Should be a wonderful game.

    Prediction: United 2-1

    1.5 units on United +170 to win in regulation time for me. LOSS

    Their toughest test of the season, but I'm on them. Barcelona just isn't clicking right now and United is a Champions league Juggernaut this term

37. I already have Chelsea to advance as listed above. So, with that in mind, I'm just on the total.

    2 units on the under 2 1/2 PUSH...My local paid me, my online didn't. I won't fight it since the online is probably right but my local paid off the 90 minute line.

    Pool/Chelsea at Stamford with Chelsea having the away goal aggregate advantage. Look for Chelsea to bunker in and try to not allow that away goal. Should be a nice under for us.

38. In the other 2nd leg semi final I am riding on United to get the win in regulation time. Should be a wonderful game but Ronaldo will rise to the occasion and with Rooney and Tevez on the pitch as well, we should get the result we want.

    2 units on Man United-117 @ Old Trafford. They will get this win today after the lackluster effort at Camp Nau. WIN
