So a true Freshman QB is gonna come to Happy Valley to make his first start against my Nittany Lions. My sources tell me that there is indeed a "white out" planned for this national TV game. -17.5 seems awful still right now so I will hold off and watch this line a bit. But remember ND was a fav on some books against GT and we all saw what happened. Jimmy boy was 62-0 in his High School career but I don't see his NCAA career starting off so well. Welcome to the big time kid!

Ugly Dogs
I see 2 Ugly Dogs this week
Navy +16 @ Rutgers
For posting purposes I'll use 16 but public will likely drive line higher
NM St +7.5 @ NM
2007 Ugly Dog Record 0-1
lost Buffalo+32 last week. They came close to covering with 1:30 left but choked it away.

GOAT - On one count I couldn't agree with you more. New Mexico St. +7- is a super dog this week. I think that they might have the wrong team favored in this game-Yes they are playing @ New Mexico, But Holbrook and the Boys are going to do their share of scoring.
* OVER 55 * In this game looks easy as well. State while putting up some awsome numbers ( winning & or staying easliy with-in the +7-) will struggle slowing down the Lobos running game. With both teams scoring and State hitting in the 40's OVER 55 looks like just as strong a play.
Good luck to ya ! I'll be on both.
(I'd be careful with Navy *I know the Pub. will be all over Rutgers* - They are NOT they Navy of the past few years, especially on Def. & this current QB isn't as efficent at the triple option yet as the last few Navy QB's) But I wish you good luck to ya bro. !

BIGGEST TRAP of the WEEK ---
Auburn -7 over South Florida
Something isn't right here ---- I wish the line was -21 as I like the Bulls
But only 7 points at Auburn????
Maybe the Bulls pull an upset as 90% of the public jumps on Auburn.

PICK -
Florida 1st Half over Troy (No 1st Half # yet - Game at -25)
Could this be Trap #2 - Public all over Florida and the line moves
lower and lower from -28 to -25.
-This has blow-out written all over it --- Yes, Troy almost beat
FSU last year while leading 17-10 in the 4th quarter --- But the
fact is FSU came back and won the game 24-17 and FSU sucked.
Florida should handle this game with ease and the 1st half should
be a Winna Winna -- Bring me that Chicken Dinna -$$$$$
I don't think Urban Meyer will let Troy come close and will want
this MF over quickly.
- Sorry about previous post - As that was not a pick - Just an
observation - Should have posted in NCAA CFB Forum.

Follow-up on FLA/Troy Pick
Here are Florida's weak non-conference opponents since 2000 -
2000 (Spurrier)
Ball St
--- 26-10 (1stH) --- 40-19 (F)
Mid Tenn ST
--- 38-14 (1stH) --- 55-0 (F)
2001 (Spurrier)
Marshall
--- 35-0 (1stH) --- 49-14 (F)
Loisiana Monroe
--- 38-6 (1stH) --- 55-6 (F)
2002 (Zook)
UAB
--- 34-0 (1stH) --- 51-3 (F)
Ohio Univ
--- 14-6 (1stH) --- 34-6 (F)
2003 (Zook)
San Jose St
--- 30-3 (1stH) --- 65-3 (F)
Fla A&M
--- 35-3 (1stH) --- 63-3 (F)
2004 (Zook)
E Michigan
--- 28-10 (1stH) --- 49-10 (F)
Mid Tenn St
--- 31-13 (1stH) --- 52-16 (F)
2005 (Meyer)
Wyoming
--- 17-0 (1stH) --- 32-14 (F)
Louisiana Tech
--- 21-3 (1stH) --- 41-3 (F)
2006 (Meyer)
South Miss
--- 14-7 (1stH) --- 34-7 (F)
Cent Fla
--- 34-0 (1stH) --- 42-0 (F)
West Carolina
--- 34-0 (1stH) --- 62-0 (F)
2007 (Meyer)
Western KY
--- 28-3 (1stH) --- 49-3 (F)
16 Game Average
First Half - 28.6 - 4.9 (-23.7 points)
Second Half - 19.7 -1.8
Game - 48.3 - 6.7 (-41.6 points)
Troy did play Arkansas last week and was within 23-17 at half with
a 46-26 final. Troy scored a meaningless TD at the end of the game.
Arkansas had 6 fumbles with 2 TOs to Troys 1 TO.
Will likely be adding FLA -25 to my 1st H play.

One final observation ---
Troy is schedulin the Powerhouses -
2008-
LSU
Ohio State
Oklahoma State
2007 -
Arkansas 26-46 (L)
Florida
Oklahoma State
2006 -
Florida St 17-24 (L) --- (leading in the 4th)
Georgia Tech 20-35 (L) --- (tied in the 4th)
Nebraska 0-56 (L) --- (I don't think it was close in the 4th)
2005 -
Missouri 21-52 (L) --- (Not really a powerhouse)
South Carolina 20-45 (L) --- (Not really a powerhouse)
Final point, while Troy is scheduling the BEST teams in the nation,
they have not played Florida and I really think this resembles Nebraska's
drubbing lof Troy last year. Meyer has to look no further than Michigan
and Lloyd Carr to see why this game needs to be put away quickly.

Saturdays Plays since I will be at of pocket ................
WISCONSIN -25- Like my boy BP has said in the past find a horse and ride him him, well hang on ! The Badgers are for real and this is a gift straight to the wallet ! Balanced on Off. is only the start, the new QB showed well last week to go with along with that punishing O line & running game.....They will do what they want to do on Off. On def. more of the same.....Look UNLV managed only 173 yds rushing v.s. lowly Utah St. and now in comes Wisc. and to make matter worse 129 of those yards were on scrambles by the QB. NO passing game ( 141 yds. v.s. Utah St.) No running game, all spell a big ass whopping in Vegas Saturday Night. And I'd continue to play this game even while the number rises, it's not like UNLV' passing game will be back dooring us. Good luck if you play.
HAWAII -27- Look for this number to go up as well.Tech's lack of Off. will be just too much for them to over come let alone keep up with Colt & the boys- everyone on here knows enough about Hawaii - so lay the points as they take this chance to show off on the main land !
K State -17- Davis out for SJ St. which might have mattered anyway.K-Sated showed very well v.s. Auburn last week and will be playing in the post season. They have to much for the Spartians and going 0-2 won't happen either. -17- isn't very many to lay in this spot.

Goat's Barnyard Bankroll Builder Play
One play worth posting. #346 @Michigan -6.5 vs Oregon
Line opened at 7.5. Public overreaction to the Appalachian St debacle has public all over Oregon AT The Big House. Not gonna happen.
Headlines will be "Ducks get their wings torn off by angry Wolverines"
Michigan will cypher the spread offense this week.
Good luck degenerates

Good evening or good morning, depends on when you get this post. Real quick, short on time, but here is what I have for Saturday. Good Luck and Bet Wisely as always..
NC State + 13 *** Best Bet
Welcome home Tom O'Brien. Maybe a rude awakening, but I don't think so, I think it's more inside info. Let's not forget these are O'Briens players and his schemes are still in tack. State will take the first punch, but O'Brien knows the weakness' of his former players. Take the road pup and count your cash..You will see an exposed BC team.
Oklahoma St - 22
Man, you would have to think after putting up 14 against a sub-par Dawg team, this Cowboy team will come out on all cylinders. They are just to talented not to. The only thing worries me here is the backdoor, but I think the game will be out of hand and the doors blown off. Have you ever seen a Cowboy lasso an Owl ? History is in the making boys. And on a side note, how old is Howard Schnellenberger these days ?
Va. Tech + 12.5
Makings of a Good game here boys. No Bias pick here on my part. Tech brings in the #1 D for 2 years running and these guys can hit. Offense sputtered against East Carolina, but they have playmakers on the O- side of the ball. LSU on the other hand is just plain out nasty, but things won't be quite so easy this week as last. This game could come down to special teams and we know the story there. If Tech gets by the Tigers, they run the table, but I think they will fall short, but cover the number in a close one..
2007 TOTALS 51-37 + 17.3 UNITS
2007 Diamond Cutters 5-2 + 21.7 UNITS

back for another season boys.......... 3-0 last week (although no posts)
takin the golden flashes tommorrow............ very underrated this year and theyre lookin to take the program to the next level..... defeated a big 12 team last week ( ISU )
+13 i like them to hang around for awhile, although i feel that most likely they lose, but not by more than 13, to much fight in this team this year
Kent +13
gl
(mizzou -6.5 vs. ole miss any thoughts )??

Yimmer- Like you attitude Bro. Your homer pick...........well Big 12 (Iows St.?) Kinda,I guess we'll have to give it to you by default! haha!
Seriously, they out played Iowa. St. something bad last week & should have beaten them much worse than the score showed.....BUT this week they'll have their hands flat full ! And Kentucky is NOT Iw.St. I think they'll hang around for awhile, but Ky.'s overall team speed and pressure on Kent's Off. to keep up will do them in..(Not Cover in my opinion)...BUT Your going to get yours very soon as they'll be making short work plowing thru confrence play onto the Championship, you'll be enjoying it !
Mizzou, I like them cover the number v.s. Ole Miss. - Different reasons, I'd lean to them.
