cfb week 1

early looks on colorado st +2.5 and duke +4. I have played colo st over colo every year since i have been gambling and w/o checking, I feel like it has been a consistent winner. they bring back 19 starters and get kyle bell back froma yr long absense. this guy is a beast at rb.

also, duke has been close to pulling out wins at home on several occassions the last 2 yrs. they return 18 starters. they are getting points against uconn, who really struggled last yr as well.

any thoughts? havt=nt pulled the trigger yet.

  1. got csu at +3 (now off board on one of my books b/c of poss suspensions. barring anything drastic really like this one.

also adding buffalo large. cant take rutgers to cover this large of a spread until i see how their run game looks w/o lenard blocking for rice. teel had a very streaky yr last yr and wldnt count on him to light up the scoreboard. also, buffalo returns most of their starters. this has been the case the last two yrs and iit hasnt helped any, but i believe barring many t/o's or special team collapses, this one stays under the number.

also, adding illionois. good coach who has brought in great recruiting classes. they are a home dog and the pub seems to be heavy on mizzou.

    card so far:

    large

    buffalo +32

    csu +3

    ave

    duke +4

    illionos +4.5

  2. not the way i wanted to start yr off w/ buff, but it is a long season. really frustrating how they couldnt stick the ball in the endzone in the 2nd half after some decent drives. moving on to friday.

navy/temple over 52. navy returns rb's and qb, temple was last in ncaa at stopping the run last yr. however, navy has 8 new starters on def. so like the over better than the -21.

syracuse +3.5- the cuse played decent ball in the dome last yr. while wash was horredous on the road. both teams bring in new qbs this yr. wash will have to prove they are not the team that ended last yr as one of the worst in the country. dont think they desevr to be laying over a field goal.

illionois up to +5.5 making this large

    adding purdue -6.5
