Good Late night or good early morning, depending on where your located..
Boy, the real deal is almost here, but we have to take care of business at hand first and foremost.
Let's throw out a NICE Diamond Play for Wed.. Let's call it a Diamond Cutter. I know you guys have been drooling and these things pop up when they are least expected..
Baltimore @ New York -
As of 1989, the only team in Major baseball that had a winning record against the NY Yankess were the Baltimore Orioles, yes the O's. But it goes to show that steady ownership will always prevail. The birds have flown south like a Canadien geese while the Yanks have paid tremendously for their mistakes. Money isn't everything and when teams compete talent usually overcomes all odds.
So, why are the O's even challenging the high flying Yanks, especially at this time of the year ?? Answer - Because the Yanks are letting them. Man, them dudes just WAXED like a Rools Royce. Don't expect the same results and I know the public will be pounding the Yanks like a 16 penny nail, but trends don't lie and a rollover is in effect for the O's. Can you say GOOD-BYE.... Lights out ---- Your first bases Cutter boys for 2007 $$$$$$$

2-1 yesterday. +2.7 units
Overall, 10-13 -2.7 units.
I like a couple so far, but I just got in work. It's summer and it's slow, so I'll have lots of time to cap em.

JT.
Good call on restricting Tampa to first five innings. I think if I were to bet Tampa, I will always do first 5. I think they have the worst pen in b-ball. (off the top of my head, no research done)

Todays Play is a tough one.....

The line doesnt make any sense to me, and the public is all over the Yanks...I will take the O's to the bank.....

This is in fact a Bookie Busta....the reasons being:
1. Public is all over NYY with little line movement
2. P. Hughes is overrated w/ an ERA of 10ERA at home
3. Bedard is a stud and 2-0 against the yankees
4. O's bats are hot and you know Millar (an ex Sox) hates the Yanks
5. Gut Feeling

Three I like today.
Jays -135. 2 units.
Marcum has been a stud. His ERA in his last three is 1.31. The Jays are a great home team and the Angels are two games below .500 on the road. Add the fact that the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles California are sending to the mound essentially a rookie with a lot of minor league experience who has pitched to a 7.98 ERA in his last three.
D-Backs +104.
Minor doggie here and is solely because of homefield advantage. Both pitchers have been solid this year, but I'll go with the veteren in Davis, who has been hot lately. Sure, they have lost two in a row, but prior to that, they were 9-2.
Phillies. -118
Like I was on Harang yesterday, I love Hendrick. Washingston's pitcher, Redding, has been hot lately, but I'll take the Phillies bats to give Hendrik some support.
I'm leaning towards Milwaukee with Gallardo. Milw is a great home team, Gallardo got shellacked last time out. Since he's a rookie, I don't know how he'll react to that. So......good value, but I won't commit my money because of that unknown element.

I have a lean that is not counting against the record.....
I think i like the Boston run line...that last inning heroics leads into this game...
Any thoughts?

I agree with the Boston Run line. I think it will occur. dice-K vs Sonnastine. But......
-150 for home team run line? I just don't see the value.
I forgot to post units.
T.O. 2 units
D-Backs 2 units
Phillies 3 units
