We hit the GOW on the Cards with ease...here's my night play:
Roll with me on Houston over 8..smells like a trap but I'm playing.
We all know Wandy is one of the worst road pitchers in baseball and my hatred of Derek Lowe might be clouding my mind. However, both have been hit in this spot badly(Wandy on the road, Lowe anywhere.)
This over 8 looks like a joke. So far in head to head the teams are averaging 12.7 runs per game.
Small for me since it smells like a trap:

2nd play:
Roll with me on Livan and the Dbacks +115 against a rookie pitcher in an empty park. There won't be but 6 people at Marlins stadium tonight (Ricky and BP will be 2 of them) and that means this game is being played for the TV audience. The Dbacks are one of the hottest teams in MLB and I'll take a crafty vet like Livan over a rook who is getting face time during the downward cycle.

Clay Bucholz is another rookie phenom who gets a late season call up for the BoSox. This kid is legit and if he doesn't have the shakes, he'll be a wunderkid today. Clay averaged a serious K/W ratio and has solid command. On the other side of the hill the under is always a good play when Lackey and the deep Halos pen are in play. This looks like a nice 4-3 kind of game.'

I'll take the intense rivalry and the playoff battle as the Cards continue to roll behind a resurgent Rolen and the always dangerous Albert. **I know this pitcher well. He is pitching with control lately and it has shown. He gets out of trouble and avoids the walks. One of the leading DP turners in the MLB. Think a poor man's Brandon Webb bat breakin junk pitcher.

**Tampa Bay is 6-3-1 ATS on the under in their last 10..4 out of 5 under in their last 5.
**The Drays offense is averaging a mighty 2.0 runs per game scored in their last 6 games.
**Cleveland is 7-3 ATS on the under in their last 10.
**Cleveland is 4-0 ATS on the under in their last 4.
It's a risky play as the Tribe bats can bust out and nail the over all by themselves early. The Drays bullpen sucks..and I'm being polite. However, I think Jake will go deep for the Indians and Hammel is gonna be better than anticipated. I'm praying I have under 4 by the 8'th inning, but we'll see what happens. I see a surprisingly low scoring game as Jake will have to labor against an inspired effort from Hammel.

I'll take their unsung lineup and MLB leading record in 1 run games, I'll take the Braves offensive lapse and their still suspect bullpen. Seems too easy and the wrong team's favored. I know Buddy Carlysle has pitched well in the back end, but I ask you, are Braves backers betting tradition or betting in the now. With Renteria on the DL and Kelly Johnson slumping, I don't see the lead off hitters getting free swingers like Jones and Tex a good at bat. We'll see what happens but I think Zona wins in the late innings.

Harang has good numbers against Milwaukee and has won 7 of his last 8. The pub is with us on the Reds but I'll take it. Capuano has fallen off the face of the earth with an 0-5 ledger in his last 7 starts and ERA around 9. Throw in the shady Brew Crew bullpen (Cincy's isnt any better) and you got a lot of sticks that can bang for the Reds. I like the fact that Harang is old school and will go deep in a game. He went 10 innings last time out against the Brew Crew and gave up 1 run with 10 K's. Anyways, I think the safe play is the Reds based on the starters.
