  1. Okay fellas I hit my first Bookie Busta with ease. I should have another one today....I will start digging deep. Boston only let up 2 hits and no runs it was a lock all the way.

    Record is at (22-12) 65%

Bookie Busta Play today....????Unknown?????, but will come..

  3. Just wanted to gloss our top 4 in the MLB handicapping contest. Newman had a beautiful season and got upset in the finals by the streaky GoCubsGO who also put up a nice number.

In the 3rd place match Slam took Hilly out back and ended up nabbing the third place gravy.

Congrats to our top 4 and thank you for everyone who chose to play in the 1'st annual Gotpicks MLB Handicapping contest.

Thanks to slam for running stats (he's playing for free next year), Hilly and others for covering my stat posting on off days, and everyone else for trusting a bunch of guy's you've never met to run a legit contest. Hope you all enjoyed it and looking forward to the NFL contest.

Have a great rest of the year and "big ups" to GoCubsGo and our other finalists.

  4. Damn, I really still like the value in that O's game last night. JT, in hind sight the over in that game was by far the correct play. Well done. I should have taken O's +1-1/2 (+100).

    Two plays today

    KC/Texas over 10 (-110)

    SD/Col under 7.5 (-110)

    listed

    Posted record 68-40-1 (+21.23 units)

  5. I like two today a lot.

    Mets -145. 3 units

The Pirates are 34-26 vs the sub .500 teams and just 15-41 against the .500+ teams. Plus, Snell has been awful lately. The Pirates have now lost his last six starts, getting outscored 44-15 in the process. Snell has carried a 7.31 ERA through those six games. El Duque has emerged as the Mets ace and they have won his last six starts.

    Cinci +135. 2 units

I have been on Harang all year, as the Reds are a .750 team with him. The Cubbies are 3-8 in their last 11. Zambrano has walked 10 in his last 10 innings and those control issues have led to 20 baserunners in his last 10 innings. Zambrano went 11 straight starts without allowing more than 8 baserunners but he has allowed 9 or more in his last two. Live dog here. Woof woof.

    Indians -150. 2 units

Bonderman was very lucky at the beginning of the year, getting a lot of run support and effectively getting out of jams. It has caught up to him and is ERA is 13.50 in his last three. Sabathia allows a lot of hits, but manages to keep his ERA down. The Indians have had a day off and need to rebound after getting swept by the red-hot Yanks.

  8. For what it is worth, the Cubs are also terrible in their first home game after a road trip. They had a day of in between which may help, but I would not play the Cubs tonight with a 10' pole.

  9. Bookie Busta Play of the Day

    Current Record (22-12) 65%

    FLORIDA -135

The play tonight is on FLA. Willis is pitching and has sucked lately but is due to turn it around. ARIZ does not hit too well against lefties. The line is moving in a good direction and I like the fact FLA is at home.

    Take FLA to the bank!!!!!!
