   A weird card for me tonight. I'm riding with BP as well, but there are some awful funny lines out there. I'm invested in Yovanni Gallardo again tonight and think the Barry hype is going to over shadow the very solid season Hudson has had. Remember his days with the A's..he is a 2H pitcher and the Braves are rollin towards an improbable East title. (That's right, I'm calling the Braves the champs of the East..Mets starting pitching is getting exposed and Pedro is still ailing.) I think you'll see the Bravos get it done handily tonight.

5. Here's what I'm playing today:

   ROLL WITH ME ON San Diego +125 ML against Colorado today in Coors Field. I think both pitchers will get touched, but I give the edge to Germano. He's pitching to keep his rotation spot and he responded positively last week. The Pads have a great back end bullpen and I think they will steal this game in the late innings.

   2 units on San Diego +125 ML

   Germano/Cook must go

   ROLL WITH ME ON COLORADO under 10 1/2 -105

   Same listed pitchers..should stay under the number

6. Bad day play

   5-4 ATS -0.8 Units on the week

   Here's my card tonight:

   Roll with me on Boston -105 @ Cleveland.

   Beckett/Carmona must go.

   You all know how good Beckett is on the road, and Carmona is riding high, but I think we're going to see the Red Sox handle Carmona and give him a bad outting today. It should be a great game and the line is right in that both pitchers are all star caliber this year. But I will lean on the Sox and see if they get me the win tonight. Boston's won 4 of the first 5 in the series this year as well. Better bullpen and can match the sticks.

   BEST BET:

   Brewers +115 @ Cincy. I know Lohse has turned it around but Suppan is a quality road pitcher and that Reds bullpen is just so god awful. Not that the brewers are much better but I'll take Turnbow and Cordero over Weathers and staff anyday.

13. Game of the Week:

    Still a lot of week left to turn a nice profit. I have two plays tonight for a total of 6 units and gonna ride with BP although I have a feeling we have the same play tonight...

    Game of the Week:

    Roll with me on Nate the Great and Jered to get it done tonight on the under 9 1/2 -115.

    I am playing the under in the Halos game. Big bats on both sides, but these pitchers will get us the under. Just get the ball in the late innings to the Halos pen and they should smother the last 2 innings for us.

    Detroit is an over monster at home going 30-14 ATS on the over, but on the road they are 500%.

    All the games this year have gone over, but none with this pitching matchup. I think a resurgent Robertson and a steady Weaver will get it to the late innings. 10 is a lot of runs to beat us.

    I'm backing Kansas City tonight and Brian Bannister's 3-1 Home record since may. The cat pitches well at home and the Royals bats are solid if unspectacular since the All Star break. Gordon is starting to hit and Bannister has been the most consistent pitcher all year with his 3.68 ERA. His numbers at home are sick and Texas over achieved in their last series. Royals should get it done tonight.

    KC -130 ML 2 units for me.

    No disrespect, but Lester is overrated. He got his emotional win at home, let's see how he does against the last place D rays. I think you'll be surpriesed. I think Shields has run out of gas and that god awful bullpen behind him is overworked and has no legit closer.

    Logic: Marshall gets no run support and it's getting in his head. These two teams are hated rivals and although both bullys suck...Harang isn't scared to go deep. In his last start..he went 10 innings..not 9..10...and got the no decision while King 12...

    DiNardo has been a great back end starter for the A's and I'm banking on a traditional Oakland 2H run as I will be playing on them lots in the next few months. Street is back in the bullpen and all is right with Oakland pitching.

    Dodgers -110 ML

    Billingsley should get revenge for last night's drubbing at the hands of Francis. Dodgers bats are better than they are hitting and I think Jiminez will get lit up like a christmas tree
