I'm a big UFC fan, but I love boxing as well and hope this fight isn't as bad as DeLayHoya/Mayweather.
Tonight I'm backing the Grim Reaper as a slight dog against Winky Wright. If you saw last night's altercation, you know this fight is getting personal. Hopkin's is definetely in Winky's head but here's why I'm backing The Executioner:
**I have hit on him time and time again. I can't ever remember losing on him as a dog (he was favored against taylor) and cashed nicely on him against Tarver last time out.
**If you know B Hop's story..he's been through more in life than almost anyone. I just think his warrior attitude will prevail tonight. Call it schemp, but I'm serious on this. Hopkins has had his back against the wall many times in his life and tonight is one of those times.
**With the age of BOTH fighters, I have to give the conditioning nod to Hopkins. Against Tarver they went the distance and he looked very good in the 12'th while Tarver was gassed. Winky is a well conditioned athlete, but he's going to try to knock out B hop and I think he will tire.
**This is B Hop's last fight (again!) and as a long time fan, I can't see him going out a loser. A draw is a very real possibility for many reasons but I don't think either guy gets knocked out. If one does, it will be Winky.
That's all I got. I backed my bet down a little bit since someone else who knows boxing is the other way on this one.
