I normally dont play on the weekends ,however this is one game I CANNOT pass up and posting here is a must! I absolutely L-O-V-E the Angels today -111, I was jogging the idea of a possible RL(+145) but dont push it. I see the Angels going into the all star break on a small run, a 3 game sweep of Toronto.
Angels ML -111

Pick Star Ratings Game Time
ANAHEIM (44 - 40) at TORONTO (39 - 46): Play on The Over 9 Even 3 7/10/2004 3:05:00 PM
Saturday, 7/10/2004 KELVIM ESCOBAR (R) vs. TED LILLY (L). This is a 2.5% Play
PITTSBURGH (38 - 45) at MONTREAL (29 - 55): Play On The Pittsburgh Pirates -136 6 7/10/2004 6:05:00 PM
Saturday, 7/10/2004 KIP WELLS (R) vs. ROCKY BIDDLE (R). I will come right back with the Pirates again Saturday with the favorable pitching match-up in their favor with Well. Over Wells last three starts he has an ERA of 2.61 and a WHIP of 1.306 going 1-0 while the Pirates went 2-1 in these starts. Biddle will get his first start of the year moving from the bullpen where he has struggled to get hitters out with an ERA of 8.13 and a WHIP of 1.837 going 0-4 over 35 IP. As always I prefer to take the proven starter that is in form backed by some hot bats and that is what we have here today. I don't see Biddle getting past the 5th and the Bucs should be able to take advantag of the weaker Expos bullepen. I will take the Pirates today as my 6 Star Play Of The Day as a 4.5% Play.
CHICAGO CUBS (46 - 38) at ST LOUIS (52 - 32): Play On The St Louis Cardinals -125 4 7/10/2004 12:20:00 PM
Saturday, 7/10/2004 MATT CLEMENT (R) vs. JEFF SUPPAN (R). Clement has been the hard luck starter for the Cubs only getting 2 runs of support over his last three starts. During this periord he has an ERA of 1.53 but a WHIP of 1.471 that has been driven up by control problems as Clement has issued 12 walks his last 17 IP. Suppan comes in over his last three starts with an ERA of 2.21 and a WHIP of 1.033, better than his season numbers of 3.35 and 1.248 so he is in solid form. Again we have another situation where Suppan is just a little sharper than Clement at this time and the Cardinals are the hot team swinging the hot bats. Take the Cardinals today as a 3.5% Play
NY METS (43 - 41) at FLORIDA (43 - 42): Play On The Florida Marlins -116 3 7/10/2004 5:05:00 PM
Saturday, 7/10/2004 TOM GLAVINE (L) vs. BRAD PENNY (R). Can't go crazy with this game as both Glavine and Penny have not been in great form. They actually almost have identical WHIP over their last three starts at 1.582 vs 1.588. Penny has been a solid play from mid-season on the last couple years. PENNY is 16-3 (+16.9 Units) against the money line when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season over the last 3 seasons. (Team's Record). Will take the Marlins and Penny today as a 3% Play at home.
TEXAS (48 - 35) at BOSTON (46 - 37): Play On The Texas Rangers +117 4 7/10/2004 6:05:00 PM
Saturday, 7/10/2004 KENNY ROGERS (L) vs. DEREK LOWE (R). BOSTON is 3-13 (-16.8 Units) against the money line vs. AL teams scoring 5.2 or more runs/game on the season this season. The average score was BOSTON 4.4, OPPONENT 6.3. With Lowe struggling I will back Rogers who is still in decent form with a WHIP at .983 his last three starts vs Lowe's 1.715. Give the Rangers this many base runners and they will put up runs. Take the Rangers today as a 3.5% Dog.
OAKLAND (46 - 37) at CLEVELAND (40 - 44): Play On The Oakland A's 5 7/10/2004 6:05:00 PM
Saturday, 7/10/2004 MARK MULDER (L) vs. CC SABATHIA (L). Sabathia has only gone 4 IP his last two starts and over his last three he has gone 12 IP with an ERA of 5.25 (Season 3.23) and a WHIP of 1.167 (Season 1.226). Meanwhile Mulder remains steady with an ERA of 3.13 and a WHIP of 1.261 his last three starts. Mulder is also 6-2 when starting against CLEVELAND with an ERA of 4.58 and a WHIP of 1.207. His team's record is 6-2 (+3.5 units) in these starts. With Sabathia fallling out of form you can't count on this Inidans bullpen to stop many teams. Take the A's and Mulder today as a 4% Play.

I don't even need to say anything about the way the last two games ended last night. If you followed either of them, you know what I'm talking about. Everything that could have went wrong for me went wrong. It's the NBA all over again! I win big on one game, and get snaked on the other two, which made for a rotten evening. Here are today's plays:
SEATTLE +2.5 (Small Play) (this game is at halftime; forgot to post earlier)
LOS ANGELES +1.5 (Small Play)
Season Record: 20-21
1-4 Large Plays
15-9 Average Plays
4-8 Small Plays
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
