Ok, so both teams are slumping. But we are going to take a shot with the home Orioles team tonight. Lets face it, the O's offense has been killing Bedard - he is getting zero run support from this offense. Bedard is an ace though and ranks second in the AL with 103 strikeouts and has held opponents to three runs or fewer in eight consecutive starts. Records aside, Bedard is flat out a better start than Owings for the D-Backs.

Bedard is avg 1.18 K's per inning pitched.

Owings is avg 0.73 K's per inning pitched.

Bedard is avg 0.37 walks per inning pitched.

OWings is avg 0.40 walks per inning pitched.

We see the O's rallying around their ace tonight and finally give him some run support.

    BALTIMORE -138 vs Arizona

    Heartbreaker with the O's last night, after Bedard pitched a gem. Bullpen let us down.

    Nice pitching change today and we will hit the same spot. Randy gets the scratch for Zona, while Cabrera moves up one day for the O's.

    Beginning of this series we saw the O's taking 2 from the D-Backs. If thats the case, today is a MUST WIN.
