PC7588 Week 11 Picks
Finished last week at 4-6 and had some frustrating losses. I'll be going large this week...rollin double the units I usually do. I really like this week's card..let's see if it translates into more cash. I'll list my units (100.00 per unit) next to plays this week and track both ATS and units.
MONDAY:
ROLL WITH ME ON Toronto +145 ML @ San Fran.
Towers and Morris must go.
The Giants are 3-7 in their last 10 and have lost 3 in a row. The offense is anemic. Toronto on the other hand is slowly coming together. I think your gonna see a nice effort out of Towers tonight and some fireworks from the Jays bat's.
1 Unit on Toronto +145
BEST BET:
I'll roll with the under tonight in Houston/Chicago.
Williams/Zambrano must go.
The pub is hammering the over because they've seen the Cubs light it up. Tonight I see Zam throwin a gem. Woody is a vet and if he is off, the Stros will give him the hook quick. Lidge has re established himself as the closer and I see Houston keeping it close. This shouldn't be a slugfest. Zambrano could go the distance and he traditionally does well against the Stros. On the other mound, Woody's Stros have won the last 3 times he has faced them and only 1 one of the games went over 8...an extra inning affair in 06. I think Woody will continue his work against the Cubs but we'll have to sweat that god awful Cubs pen.
ROLL WITH ME ON THE CUBS UNDER 9 BEST BET 2 Units
Also playing:
White Sox/Philly under 10 for 1 unit
Complete card for Week 11 Monday:
Cubs under 9...2.2 units to win 2 units
Toronto ML +145 ...1 unit to win 1.45 units
White Sox under 10...risking 1.1 unit to win 1 unit
Good luck boys..let's roll.

Week 11: 2-1 ATS +2 units
TUESDAY
Here's what I have for tonight:
BEST BET:
Roll with me on the Twinkies and yet another phenom Kevin Slowey tonight in his home debut in the Metrodome. He looked good in his first game but had some shaky moments. Now that he's a big leaguer, I love the line and the way the pub is moving on it.
Let's not forget the Twins are usually one of the best home teams in the AL in interleague.
In addition, get the ball to Neshak and Nathan and this game is over. We just need the lead after 6 and with Kevin on the hill, I feel confident we cash this ticket.
2 UNITS ON MINNESOTA RUN LINE (yes run line..you know if I Play em we hit em)
Minnesota -1.5 +140
My logic is this..Davies can't hang with Slowey. The Twins bats are better at home and the Braves bats are somewhat slumping. McCann is banged up, the Jones duo is banged up and hitting poorly, the Braves pen could very well let the game get out of hand early.
Risking 2 units to win 2.8 units on Minnesota RUN LINE +140
Play #2:
I'll play the over in the Fish and Indians at the Jake. As we all know the Indians have one of the best records in MLB at home and tonight they get a fish team who will try to hold that offense down. Cleveland came down from 7-0 last night to ultimately lose in the 10'th. But the offense never stops banging and they always go for big innings. In addition, the Fish offense should have some success against Carmona. He is a quality pitcher but has faltered in the last month or so after a brilliant start. I think you continue to see big numbers at the Jake.
ROLL WITH ME ON OVER 9 -115 ML
Risking 1.15 unit to win 1 unit on the Twins over 9.
Play #3:
I'll take the value all day. Pub is hammering the yanks for two reasons:
1.) They have played lights out lately in all aspects of the game.
2.) Webb historically has trouble against the Yanks.
2007 is a different story. Webb has really found his groove after a rough start and the Dbacks are playing well. There is good value in this game as the Yanks are due for a letdown. Going against Webb anytime and getting +160 I would play.
ROLL WITH ME ON ARIZONA ML +160
Risking 1 unit to win 1.6 units
RECAP:
BEST BET: Twins RUN LINE -1.5...risking 2 units to win 2.8 units
Dbacks...risking 1 unit to win 1.6 units
Cleveland over ...risking 1.15 units to win 1 unit (9over -115)
Good luck boys.

Week 11: 3-3 ATS +2.8 Units (1-2 yesterday +.8 Units)
WEDNESDAY DAY:
Early:
Roll with me on San Fran under 8...Lincecum/Marcum must go.
Barry probably isn't playing in a day after night game and the San Fran offense continues to be anemic. I think the Jays will have trouble in their first appearance against Rookie Phenom Tim Lincecum.
ROLL WITH ME ON SAN FRAN UNDER 8....2 units Best Bet Day.

San Fran still pending..here's what I got for tonight:
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEST BET:
We're rollin the over in the Angels/Reds tilt.
Last night, the two teams ended up with an under and a total of 8. Tonight you have Lackey and Lohse squaring off. Lackey is going after his Major league leading 10'th win and Lohse; who lost the first 6 games he started this year, are taking the hill.
I saw this total and immediately felt it was too low. As good as Lackey is, he won't pitch a shut out. On the other side of the hill, the Lohse will have trouble tonight. He's put together a nice string of starts, but he traditionally does poorly vs. the AL and the Angels. He was 4-3 with an ERA of over 6 against the Angels in his days with the Twins.
I really think your gonna see the Reds bullpen implode tonight. They did great last night as Weathers and company worked the end of the game to keep it in the win column for the Reds.
I watched most of the game last night and I'll tell you this. The Reds hitters are really solid at the plate in terms of not wasting at bats. I was very impressed with their discipline (well except for Jack one Adam Dunn) and think they will get at least 3 tonight. The Angels should cover the number by themselves against Lohse, but we'll see.
The Public is currently slammin the under riding Lackey and Lohse's recent success. But both pitchers are due for a letdown and I hope it's Lackey. This will give us an easy cover, but you never know and Lohse might just throw it down tonight. But I don't see it. We should have this cover by the 7'th. That Reds pen is in trouble tonight if Lohse goes out early.
Good luck if you ride
ROLL WITH ME ON ANGELS/REDS over 9.

Let's roll
Week 11: 3-4-1 ATS +0.6 units (0-1-1 yesterday lost San Fran under -2.2)
Thursday
BEST BET: Play #1: Roll with me on Baltimore RL -1 1/2 @ home against the Nats. They have what I think is their best pitcher going tonight in Guthrie and the Nats are playing for the sweep. I just can't see the Nats winning tonight. Orioles should pound them on the offense and Guthrie will keep the Nats bats shelved.
ROLL WITH ME ON BALTIMORE RUN LINE -1 1/2 +105
2 units to win 2.1 units
Play #2: Man it smells like a trap but I'm playing it. Roll with me on KC/Cards over 10 1/2. Wells and Elarton are on the hill and they both have bad numbers in this spot.
Both ERA's (road)/(home) are over 6. In previous starts the opposition scored 10 runs when playing against each other.
I have watched Elarton many times this year as a die hard Royals fan. He has shown flashes of being the pitcher he used to be but I don't see it tonight. Wells has been garbage his whole career. Royals bats seem to be hitting well and I see this game hitting 15. But the number is so low it smells like a trap so I'm treading lightly.
1 unit on KC over 10 1/2 -115 ML
Play #3: Roll with me on Colorado +200 ML @ Boston. The Sox are not playing well and Beckett is a better pitcher on the road than he is at home. Francis is a better pitcher on the road vs. at home. Look at last night's game..the Rocks bats were able to eventually get to Schills and put up 12 runs on the vaunted Sox stud and bully. I don't know why we wouldn't think more of the same tonight. It is a very good value and a long shot..but I had this game at -150 Boston so I'll jump on it.
ROLL WITH ME ON COLORADO ML +200
1 unit to win 2 units.
Let's roll..good luck whatever your on.

Long day at the office, here's the winners tonight:
Week 11 ATS and Units: 5-5-1 ATS +1.6 Units
Thursday:
BEST BET: Roll with me on Kansas City/Florida under 9 tonight in KC. Meche and Mitre are on the hill and Mitre is a top contender for comeback player of the year. The guy has pitched incredibly well since changing his mechanics. As a Royals Die hard, I know the boys can't keep up the offense forever. In addition, Meche is due for a big performance and I think we see it tonight in KC against bats that have never seen him before. Both bullpens should do fine and I don't expect it to go over 7.
Kansas City under 9 -105 2 units
Play #2: We hit a great dog on the Rocks last night and I see another one tonight. Grab your sack and roll with me on Oliver Perez and the Mets to end the Yanks win streak. I know the Rocket is on the hill, I know the Yanks have won 8 straight, I know it's the Subway series. The Mets were in a mini slump and had some injuries to big stars (Beltran, Delgado, Wright) but it seems the lineup is back intact. They will want to prove they are the Kings of New York tonight. Oliver has the potential to keep it low and give their big offense some licks at the Rocket.
ROLL WITH ME ON THE METS +160 in the Bronx
1 unit to win 1.6
Play #3:
Roll with me on Minnesota -115 @ home tonight. I'll take baker all day in this pitching matchup and I believe your gonna see the Twins carry last night's comeback win momentum into tonight's game. Twins should win this one in a laugher from what I see.
ROLL WITH ME ON MINNESOTA -115 ML
1.15 units to win 1 unit.
GL boyz.
COLLEGE WORLD SERIES PICKS:
WIll come from ya live at Omaha with the assist from our west coast Guru Perry Como. Last year we hammered doggies and made good loot on the Beavers.
First play tonight not counting on posted record but I'm on it for 1 unit:
ROll with me on Miss. State +210 against UNC in the opener for both teams in the CWS.

SATURDAY NIGHT:
Game of the Week:
Roll with me on Detroit -120 with Andrew Miller on the hill. The Tigers bats are smoking, the bullpen is rested, and the future All Star is on the hill. This isn't his first start and even if he gives up a few, I'm confident the Tigers will continue to put up big numbers.Jamie Moyer is crafty, but he's not gonna be able to wriggle out of all the holes he gets into tonight.
In addition, the Phils bullpen is in serious disarray. They have looked respectable recently, but this is the Tigers. Many people don't know how good this Tigers team is. The offense is loaded, the starters are dominant, and for the most part, the bullpen is solid. Phillies are just starting to click but the Phils pitching is over matched.
ROLL WITH ME ON DETROIT -120 ML
Miller/Moyer must go
4 unit play
Dog Play: We've been hitting these well and I see another great value. The Orioles seem to be in a freefall. Their offense is stymied, they just got swept by the Nationals in Camden, and now Zona wins the first one. Did I mention the Orioles bullpen is imploding as well. If you need a closer in fantasy start shopping the O's minors..anyways, I like the value as Gonzalez can pitch well and did last year. Great value...
ROLL WITH ME ON ARIZONA +130 ML @ Baltimore
1 unit to win 1.3
Last play:
2 Units on Tampa Bay +125 @ Colorado. Sonnanstine has looked very impressive and I really do believe the Drays sticks are one of the most underrated in baseball. I'll take Andy over Hirsh all day.
2 units to win 2.5 on Tampa Bay
Good luck boys..let's see how it all goes down.

Damn, I post my GOW and then go another site where I post and see everyone and their mother from services to cappers to rooks are on the Tigers. So I apologize for that..I should have known better.
Bad night
I'll shoot again today though..
-5.5 units yesterday
8-8-1 ATS -2.4 units on the week
See ya around 11:30 AM CST...sorry again for Detroit..I had that terrible feeling in my stomach when I saw everyone else on Detroit as well. Would have been a great fade play that Phantom loves. Damn, my bad. I didn't think the world would be on Miller and the Tigers last night.

1 unit to win 1.4 units
Play #3: Zona/Detroit 2 team parley
1 unit to win 1.9 units
