PC7588 Week 9 Picks
Memorial Day Monday
All right, good week last week. Let's keep it rollin.
Today I like the Pirates/Reds over 9 1/2 +100
Snell/Lohse must go.
Remember last week when we rolled on the over in a Lohse game? This guy has been absolute garbage, but the Reds have no other options. No farm prospects, no middle relievers to replace the starters, it's a travesty. Throw in the fact that Edwin Encarnacion has been hittin like a MOFO since returning from Triple AAA and I really like the over. Grif, Brandon Phillips, Edwin, Dunn, and the gang are gonna put up something against Snell at home. In the other dugout a hot Jason Bay is leading the charge and I think this total should be around 11.
ROLL WITH ME ON PITT OVER 9 1/2 +100
Good luck boys..happy memorial day.

Got two for tonight:
Week 9 Record: 0-1 ATS
Tuesday
Play #1:
Roll with me on the White Sox/Twins under 9. For those of you who like my posts on hard data and trends..there are some strong ones.
In 8 starts this year, only one has gone over tonight's total..and that was a 10-4 win on 5-22. Kid is 3-0 and has a 1.89 ERA in his last 3. I dropped this mofo and Sunday scooped him up off hot off the waiver wire> I'm regretting that but you would laugh if you saw my other drops he hammered. (All right, Kei Igawa and Jon Lieber were two of em..Sorry Sunday, still bitter I didn't keep Danks)
Anyways..I look at both pitchers and I see two second year pitchers (Danks got an extensive flirt with Texas last year between Triple AAA and the bigs as part of the infamous DVD boyz) who are really coming into their own. I was "boofed" last week in fantasy and it's his 3rd straight start that he was quality. I looked at his record and the Twins haven't allowed more than 4 runs in games that Boof has started at the Metrodome this year. Throw in Neshak..the best set up man in baseball in my opinion with Nathan, then whirl out Jenks and McDougie and as long as we get out of the first few innings relatively unscathed, I really like our chances.
ROLL WITH ME ON MINNESOTA/W SOX under 9
Listed must go...Boof and Danks
Play #2:
Call me a sucker, but I'm gonna roll on Smoltzie and the Bravos at Milwaukee..my logic:
Braves and Brewers with Smoltz on the hill and I'm getting juice?
Ben Sheets has had that little red medical cross next to his name all week in fantasy...dude just might go an inning and call it quits.
The Brew Crew bullpen is starting to fall apart. Turnbow is getting back to that winning form that lost him the job to Cordero.
Anyways...should be a pitching gem, but I'm gonna back the better team. I will roll on the Bravos tonight.
ROLL WITH ME ON ATLANTA +115 ML @ Milwaukee
Listed Pitchers must go...
Ben "DL" Sheets and Smoltzie

0-2 last night and a bad start to the week.
I'm taking tonight off all the way around in all sports and will be back with some hammers on Thursday.
have a great Wednesday...sorry for the bad start this week, it will turn around. I honestly didn't like anything today that wasn't under -150.
Take care we'll see ya tomorrow.

FRIDAY
Week 9: 0-3 ATS
Let's bang:
Play #1: Roll with me on Minnesota +110.
Kevin Slowery baby...Slam, myself, and some of the other fellas in Gotpicks fantasy baseball have been waiting for this bad ass to arrive. I'll take the action all day as I believe he will get it done tonight for a Twins team that needs a win.
ROLL WITH ME ON MINNESOTA +110
Play #2: Roll with me on Colorado under 11.
Every time I lose on the Rocks Bucholz is killen me. I'll take the under 11 all day even though the Reds have their best pitcher in Triple AAA. Good luck on this as I see my boy Gocubsgo is on the over...but I love the under with Taylor pitching another gem and the Rock's bats still somewhat in a slump.
ROLL WITH ME ON ROCKS UNDER 11
Good luck fellas. Had to take a few days off to take a break.
Opinions:
KC wins and covers the +190
Detroit wins and covers the +210
The O Birds go under 8 tonight.
That's all I got fellas. I'm playing the opinions small and hammering the two I posted.
Have a great Friday.

Thanks Takis, needed that last night after a bad start to the week. But got back in the positive last night...THANK YOU ROYALS$$$ Pimpin glad you slammed the Twins. Slam and I have been trading weeks picking up Kevin SLowery from the Twinkies. HE is the real deal. Glad he cashed for us.
Week 9: 2-3 ATS
Opinions: 2-1 ATS +190 (based on 1 unit plays) yesterday
Saturday:[/size
Early:
Roll with me on Arizona under 8 1/2. The Dbacks are on fire and their pitching and back end bullpen have been great. Offensively, the Mets are challenged right now. Both Wright and Beltran are seriously hurting and I don't think either one will play today. If they do, they won't be 100%. Sosa will be forced to pitch well and the back end of the Mets pen has been good as well. With the pub hitten the over, I gotta roll under in this game.
ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 8 1/2 in ZOna/Mets today in about 20 minutes.

All right, this week is starting to come around. I'm glad we won the early game but there is no excuse in hell we had to sweat Reyes bottom of the 8th triple..but I'll take it.
Week 9: 3-3 ATS
Tonight I have two.
ALERT: I have my GOW tomorrow. It's early so look for it in the AM>
Play #1: Roll with me on the Brew crew under 9 1/2 -115 ML
Capuano at home against the Marlins is traditionally a good play, but I remember low scoring games. Go ahead and laugh that I"m backing an under with Brung Yung Kim as a listed, but I"m tellin ya, he's pitched great in the Fish gray. The kid is 3-0 since joining TeamFLA and it might ressurect his career.
ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 9 1/2 -115 in the Brewers game.
Play #2: Roll with me on San Diego RL -1 1/2 -115
You know I hate run lines, but when I post them, I usually hit them. If your scared or can't get it, play the ML with confidence. Justin Germano has been lights out and is absolutely amazing so far. His ERA is around 1.00 and he has absolutely dominated the NL since getting called up. You guys know I love Minor League Phenoms but this guy flew under the radar on virtually everyone. Throw in the fact his opposition is garbage and I have to back the run line tonight on the away team. Something I don't do more than once or twice a year. I really like the fact that the Pads are listed so high. Many people are picking the Nats as a popular dog today but not me.
ROLL ON THE PADRES -1.5 -115
Good luck boys. Game of the week tomorrow in the AM..let's roll.

We smoked it yesterday and got the week back where it needs to be. 5-0 in the last 5
Week 9: 5-3 ATS
SUNDAY GAME OF THE WEEK
all right, I actually have 3 I'm playing today but I'm loaded up on the GOW at 5 units and have 3 units on the other two. If you want my best bet play the GOW, but I'm weighting my plays.
Anyways...
Play #1: Roll with me on KC over 10.5 against Tampa. The Royals offense has exploded at the Trop and the Drays have lost the first 2 in the series against the best baseball team from the state of Missouri! Anyways, look at the pitching, Elarton is garbage, Howell is a rook and not one of the big names we were looking for. (You'll see me posting on the Drays next week with their new phenom call up Sonnan....)Anyways, the bats are hot in both dugouts and the Royals started today gets lit up like a Christmas tree on a regular basis. I don't know much about Howell other than he is the 5'th starter and has not done well this year.
ROLL WITH ME ON KC over 10 1/2 @ Tampa
Play #2:
Roll with me on San Fran/Philly under 9 -105
Our boy Tim Lincecum will force Garcia to be on point today. Throw in the fact that Barry usually sits in day games, Durham is hurt, and Howard hasn't found his way back and I think we have an easy under. IF you can get first 5 innings I would prefer you play that (both bullpens are garbage) however we should be safe on the game total.
ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 9 -105 in San Fran
GAME OF THE WEEK:
PLAY ON THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS +120 @ Houston.
Your kidding right? I'm getting juice with the Card's best pitcher on the hill and Jason Jennings coming off the DL? This is not a head scratcher, the line will look correct to most people. However, I have dug hard on this one and believe St. Louis whoops Jennings and the Stros today. Saturday's paper in the sports section dealt with the support that the GM and ownership is giving Houston's skip Phil Garner. This is almost always a kiss of death. It's way too early to play the panic button, but looking at this game I see a great opportunity. I know Eck and Duncan and possibly even Rolen are out today, but I'll take my chances. With Berkman mired in a slump there's only hitter in that lineup I'm worried about today. I hope the Cavallitos are quiet today in left field and will not be saddling up. (If you don't know what I'm talking about watch the game and watch the left field stands when Carlos Lee is up)
I can't see a reason to back the Stros today in what should be a tight game. But, I really believe that St. Louis will be firing on offense today and will win this game by 2 or 3 runs at least. The numbers and trends support a Cards win today as well.
Let's roll
