We smoked it yesterday and got the week back where it needs to be. 5-0 in the last 5
Week 9: 5-3 ATS
SUNDAY GAME OF THE WEEK
all right, I actually have 3 I'm playing today but I'm loaded up on the GOW at 5 units and have 3 units on the other two. If you want my best bet play the GOW, but I'm weighting my plays.
Anyways...
Play #1: Roll with me on KC over 10.5 against Tampa. The Royals offense has exploded at the Trop and the Drays have lost the first 2 in the series against the best baseball team from the state of Missouri! Anyways, look at the pitching, Elarton is garbage, Howell is a rook and not one of the big names we were looking for. (You'll see me posting on the Drays next week with their new phenom call up Sonnan....)Anyways, the bats are hot in both dugouts and the Royals started today gets lit up like a Christmas tree on a regular basis. I don't know much about Howell other than he is the 5'th starter and has not done well this year.
ROLL WITH ME ON KC over 10 1/2 @ Tampa
Play #2:
Roll with me on San Fran/Philly under 9 -105
Our boy Tim Lincecum will force Garcia to be on point today. Throw in the fact that Barry usually sits in day games, Durham is hurt, and Howard hasn't found his way back and I think we have an easy under. IF you can get first 5 innings I would prefer you play that (both bullpens are garbage) however we should be safe on the game total.
ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 9 -105 in San Fran
GAME OF THE WEEK:
PLAY ON THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS +120 @ Houston.
Your kidding right? I'm getting juice with the Card's best pitcher on the hill and Jason Jennings coming off the DL? This is not a head scratcher, the line will look correct to most people. However, I have dug hard on this one and believe St. Louis whoops Jennings and the Stros today. Saturday's paper in the sports section dealt with the support that the GM and ownership is giving Houston's skip Phil Garner. This is almost always a kiss of death. It's way too early to play the panic button, but looking at this game I see a great opportunity. I know Eck and Duncan and possibly even Rolen are out today, but I'll take my chances. With Berkman mired in a slump there's only hitter in that lineup I'm worried about today. I hope the Cavallitos are quiet today in left field and will not be saddling up. (If you don't know what I'm talking about watch the game and watch the left field stands when Carlos Lee is up)
I can't see a reason to back the Stros today in what should be a tight game. But, I really believe that St. Louis will be firing on offense today and will win this game by 2 or 3 runs at least. The numbers and trends support a Cards win today as well.
Let's roll
