Wow we all saw your post on here too saying that Chuck would get rocked. Nice call!!! Not. That is so untrue. You do realize that the pride fighters are getting fucked up by UFC fighters over there right. Nick Diaz from the UFC just kicked the living shit out of the best 170 lbs in the business right. And Lawler is cleaning house too. And did you see on that free show about a month ago. What happened to one of the best pride fighters coming into the UFC. I think he got his head kicked in. Go rethink your thoughts bud. Your way off.

the only proof i have is my bet on sportsbook.com, and that is the only thing that matters. ok let me rephrase; the BEST pride fighters in their respective weight class will kick the BEST ufc fighters asses (even though they use a different weight class system, but u get my point). who does ufc have that can step to fedor? no one. and wandalei? i actually think wandalei/chuck will be a decent fight (if it ever happens), but i will unload once again on a pride fighter again at that point.

Hey mertzz..
Things to consider:
There is no more PRIDE..the Fritatta's bought it. You can call it Pride, but ownership is 100% UFC.
I ask you this..if Phil Baroni, Nick Diaz, Josh Barnett and scores of others who can't cut it in UFC and then do well in Pride? What does that say?
No arguments on Fedor..I think he is the world's best heavyweight.
As for Wanderlei..he's like Chuck..getting old. There's a changing of the guard in both PRIDE and the UFC...notice all the old term UFC fighters lost their belts in the last 12 months?
Hughes..done
Franklin..done
Chuck..done
Sylvia...done
I'm all for Pride and UFC merging. It only means better fights for the world. So..my point..get over Pride..it doesn't exist anymore. The MMA world is now owned by the Fritatta's and I for one, am not bitching. I'm all for the big dogs of both organizations going head to head. It will bolster weak divisions on both sides of the pond.
I enjoy your PRIDE "pride". I used to feel the same way but since the acquisition I could care less, we will finally get to see Fedor go against everyone, we'll get to see how guys like Hughes and Franklin stack up against their East side counterparts..but get used to it bro..there is no more PRIDE...in name only but I'm all for it.
Take care...

im all for the merger also. the 'pride' fighters can finally get paid what they deserve. ive been with pride since the inception, which is why 'pride' will always have a place in my heart. maybe i am just biased, but i think the 'pride' fighters will do very well in the octagon once they get used to the no kicking when down rule...

I am by no means trying to attack you. You obiously have a heart for fighting which is cool. But the Pride fighters before the UFC bought them out made alot more money than the UFC fighters. They fill the stands of more arenas cause they have more events. I think it's a good thing cause now we can see who the best of the best is. Some guys do well in the cage some don't. Rampage obviously is one of the ones that can fight anywhere. I don't think Chuck is getting old. I just think Rampage is in his head. When was the last time you saw chuck moving forward. NEVER. He doesn't do it. And Rampage put his hands up to urge chuck forward. Well big mistate by chuck. I hate seeing it. But everyone has to lose sometime. Maybe it will make Chuck better maybe it won't. Who know's. I think Rampage will be champ for a while too. He will mop the floor with Dan Henderson. But it's all good. We have some great fights coming ahead of us.
Good Luck All

pride was run mostly by corrupt people who bankrupted the organization, kinda like k-1. im so happy that the merger happened, now maybe we will see the chuck/wandalei fight that was SUPPOSED to happen? u guys think this will ever happen?

I'd love to see that fight happen. And I have been waiting for years. But it probably won't cause they keep balking on the payday for the fight. Which is crap. The fans have been waiting a long time to see that fight. It sucks that neither one of those guys are in their prime anymore. But it would still be a good fight. They both got their asses kicked in their last fights. So maybe do it now. When they are both at their lowest. ha ha It would be a damn good one though. They both hate each other with a passion.

Hey guys,
Fedor is not a lock to join the UFC. Bodog is paying him some serious money right now as well as many young guys on the up and up. That guy who owns Bodog has more money than the Frittitas could even dream of. Many of the newer fighters are taking themselves to Bodog because they can earn around 20k per fight where the UFC will give 3-5k.
Oh yea, I almost forgot...How easy was Houston Alexander? Do you think The so called "Dean of Mean" knows where the fuck he is yet? Three days after the fact!!!! He got his bell rung like I predicted. Watch for his medical suspension..I bet it is like 6-7 months. He was on the wrong end of a serious beat down and will not be back for a year I bet...

I was sad to see The Dean get rocked like that. Well we learned his weakness. It's not his chin. It's the fact that when he gets hurt he doesn't know how to hold on. He sure did rock Alexander right before that. And he knew what to do. I will say this now. Alexander isn't anything special. He just caught Jardine with a nice hit and that's it. He won't upset anyone else though. Let him go fight Chuck. See if that happens. ha ha Or let him fight the winner of Tito/Rashad. I like that there seems to be some serious contenders in the 205 now. Before it was really just 2. Now there is a ton of figthers. I sure hope Forrest is okay for this next fight. He is fighting someone tough. And he still has a bit of a knee problem. I just wanna see him get back to his winning ways. I don't think he is a serious contender. But I would call him a B+ figther. I just like the guy. He has a great attitude and he is good for the sport. Win lose or draw I am a fan of him.
Anyone else have any up and comers. Anyone you see that we really haven't heard of. Mine was Terry Martin. But everyone is jumping on the wagon with hi. He is just an animal at 185. I am loving it. He is too strong for most and hits way too hard for most in that weight class. We will see. Someone with a bit of skill might give him a tough time. I know he called out Silva. Not sure he wants to do that. But we will see. I would take him in the fight. But I am biased. he he
Later Fellas,
Jimmy

If you've read my posts the past 3 years you know I think Jon Fitch should be wearing the belt at 171.
He has Matt's wrestling
He has BJ"s jujitsu
He has GSP's speed
Only question I have is cardio but his record shows he can go the distance and finish or win the fight.
I'm telln ya boyz..Jon Fitch is gonna hold the belt in the next 3 years at most.
