Went 2-1 yesterday winning Brewers & Braves and losing the Rangers. Record now at 12-8 since 6/19. Here are the games I bet before I went to work and the odds I got:
1) Florida (-130) - Last 3 starts Penny is 1-2 with 2.79 era and Thomson is 0-3 with 9.77 era.
2) Rangers (+103) - Texas is 8-1 last 9 games and Seattle is 1-5 last 6 games. Same pitching matchup from 6/23 when Texas won at home 6-3. Seattle will be down after trading Garcia to White Soxs. Mgmt basically telling the players we quit and have no chance of getting back into the race this year.
