I am rolling with the Sox tonight. Sox are the better team here without question. Sox are 5-1 thus far vs. the yanks this year and have handled Wang in the past. WANG is 2-4 when starting against BOSTON with an ERA of 5.18 and a WHIP of 1.680.
His team's record is 2-5 in these starts
There is no doubt that this is no ordinary series, but the Sox have been getting it done and I see that continuing tonight.
BoSoX (Wakefield) ------------- +135 2 Units (200-270)

In a little funk right now....Gotta right the ship here....
BoSox (Tavares) ---------- +155 2 Units (200-310)
Tavares has shown he can actually pitch a good game and did so earlier in the season at Yankee Stadium. The SOX will not leave runners as they did last night!! Sox will produce runs....
GOOD LUCK BOYS!!

Well since the Daily Picks board is locked, I will post here..I guess you need a key to get into the MOFO or some kind of Security clearance to gain access. WTF, lol
Anyway, Congrats Phant. Nice day !!! I guess the Brew Crew wasn't as easy as it appeared. I know Tomko is junk and should have followed the trend but the number told me different...
So let's try 1 more for today..
Minnesota @ Texas
Man, the number in this baby is extremely high. Almost not worth the risk and I will go out on a limb and say that this may be the MOST juice that I have ever laid in any 1 game.. I'm not a tease or buy points kind of guy, so I will say that this is the most juice that I have ever laid, but hell it's worth the gamble.
Santana is fixin to be lights out. His last outing showed the real Santana and now we are in his time frame as PC has said before. He will be average in April, then it's time to go to work.. Run support has been his biggest enemy, but with Loe on the mound tonight, I don't see that being an issue. The Twinkies better step it up now, or there won't be any race later. With their ace on the mound, I think they will do just that against the less superior Rangers..
Minny - 172 ML ( looked at the Run line, but it's only a $32 difference, so fuck it, Just win baby !! The value isn't much, but we may not see Santana under 200 for awhile so we do have a little value and value is only as good as the team you have it on. Loser = NOTHING )
Good Luck and Bet Wisely
2007 Totals 45-33-5 + 20.0 UNITS

Should be a great game tonight in the Bronx!!
BoSoX (Schilling) ---------- +110 3 Units (300-330)
I will be backing Schilling in NY tonight....Again, Schill in the spotlight on ESPN Wednesday Night Baseball, he will elevate his game....Sox have done very well vs Pettite this year and have the confidence going against him and the Yanks!!
GOOD LUCK BOYS!!

HAHA!! Perfect situation....Sox coming off a loss are at home on a booze filled Friday night vs the Yankees!!! Gotta love it!!! Sox are 13-2 this year after a loss....Giambi is out, Sox are playing well and the Yanks pretty much suck right now....AND THEY ARE GETTING MONEY??? ARe you shitting me? ARe the Red SOx NOT the best team in baseball right now?? A .692 winning %?? You know where my money is going!!!
Wake has been shaky his last few starts but his numbers are slightly better than Wangs for the Season.....
Wang is 1-1 with a 4.38 ERA in two starts against the Red Sox this year, but has struggled in four career starts at Fenway, going 1-2 with a 6.08 ERA.
BoSoX (Wakefield) -------------- +105 4 Units (400-420)
Fenway will be rocking tonight and Wakefield will rebound from his last couple of shaky starts....Sox will pour on the runs. It will be a great weekend and a profitable one as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an added note....the Boston Herald has reported that A-Rod's wife is in town and things are not looking good for him!!! Will that cause a distraction for him on the field??? I would have to think so!!! Here are some excerpts from the article.....
Alex Rodriguez’s wife Cynthia beat feet to Boston yesterday to confront the Yankees’ straying slugger - or maybe just to keep an eye on him - but the celebrity couple’s seemingly happy marriage was clearly rocked by revelations about A-Rod’s night out with a busty blonde.
The chastened hubby grabbed his wife’s hand but the scorned Cynthia, with a strained smile, snatched her manicured mitt away from her in-the-doghouse hubby, making for an embarrassing bobble
The meal, which at times appeared to be rather testy, was the first the celebrity couple shared since the Bronx Bombers’ third baseman was bagged with a buxom blonde in a Toronto hotel the other night
Whilst her hubby was fielding questions about his alleged infidelity, Mrs. A-Rod, 34, was spied storming out of the couple’s posh Park Avenue pad with two suitcases and jumping into a waiting car that was bound for Boston
As you are so aware by now, A-Rod has become a tabloid sensation this week with his off-the-field antics up in the Great White North. He was spied squiring a bodacious blonde to a steak dinner and then to a strip club. The baseball big was snapped after midnight hustling the woman into the elevator at the fab Four Seasons, where he had booked a room.
The photo unleashed a storm of tabloid tales about A-Rod’s alleged penchant for peel palaces and pole dancers in major cities across the country. According to reports, the Yankees’ $252 million man has buxom blondes in every port of call and prefers, ahem, “she-male, muscular types.â€

GL on your play bro. If Wake wasn't on the hill I would't play a side. I truly think the over is a better play and am parlaying that with Yanks. Yes no "Jake the Juice" for about a month and yes AROD may be in a little hot water on the homefront but when your worth a 1/4 billion dollars the bitch will not cause to much trouble I doubt. I actually look for Alex to have a big series but who knows.

Tim Wakefield has slowed down after a hot start. He has struggled in his last three starts against the Yankees, allowing 15 earned runs in his last 17 innings.

No Lowell? No JD? No Jake the Juice? Hmm will it be a head hunting fest like last night looked to be? I'm half tempted to take the under but can't with these squads and their bats. GL bro should be a good game if Moose shows up. But like I said Shill can still eat a fat dik..sorry I just have no respect for him at all. Should retire and become a pro blogger, that's his true calling.

Congrats bro. Isn't it amazing how one player pussin out like Abreu can start a big inning and turn a tight hard played game into a blowout. I'm no pro baseball player so I can't say much but if I was making that kinda loot and hittin a blistering .232 I sure as hell wouldn't be pussy footin in the field! Ok I said my peace. Congrats Bosox backers.

I lost money on the weekend series but what a great bunch of games!! Last night was tough to swallow as the arguably best 1-2 punch in MLB for closers right now gave that game away!! Will update my record soon.....
I was going to look at the A's tonight as the Sox obviously flew out in the early morning hours and will be exhausted but I wasn't expecting to see the A's at -170....May take the next few days off...Interleague ball starting for the Sox at the end of the week....Looking to make a nice run as we did last year!!!

First post for the second half of the season!!! I will update my record for the first half...but in know I was plus units anyway!!
I was salivating for Wakefield when he was scheduled to pitch yesterday b/c Wake is lights out when he is at home during a day game! Well, we didn't get it but this spot is just as good!! The Sox know they NEED to take these games against lowly teams as the Yanks slowly try to catch up!!!
Wake is 18-2 with a 2.83 ERA and three saves in 35 career games -- 25 starts -- versus the Devil Rays. The knuckleballer has been dominant at Tropicana Field, winning all eight of his decisions there with a 2.33 ERA in 18 outings -- 12 starts -- while holding the Devil Rays to a .190 batting average
Kazmir is the only thing keeping me from unloading on this game simply b/c he too has pitched very well against the Sox! ALot of guys were rested yesterday for the Sox, so there should be some offense!!!

I hate both teams...but I really dislike their fans. Madx34 and Messy are all good. But most of them are certified idiots. (No offense to anyone in here) With that being said, I will take big brother beatin up on big brother again this year if the Yanks can catch them. As a Royals fan we have history with the Yanks in the 80's and traditionally hate that team, but respect them. Red Sox fans...fuuhhggettt about it.
My top 3 favorite Boston moves:
#3: Theo Epstein quitting, and leaving in a guerilla suit. Oh wait, they hired the same guy back.
#2: Trading Babe Ruth for......???
#1: The infamous Cowboy Up phrase. Let me get this straight chowda heads using phrases like "wickedpissa" and "noreaster" and all of sudden your going John Wayne on us? And here's the funny part. I have asked 7 different "die-hard" fans what Cowboy UP meant and got 5 different answers with 2 double answers. So you tell me, they throw the bumper sticker on their car in true grit fashion and don't even know what it means. One of the stupidest rally crys I've ever heard in my life.

The Sox bats are on fire and with a days rest yesterday and the exciting matchup in the Bronx...I see the Sox continuing to hit the ball well!!!
Dice-K is 2-0 when starting against the Yanks...Sox have an 8 Game lead but know full well that the race is not over yet!!! Sox will look to make a statement tonight to let the Yanks know that they ARE THE BEST TEAM IN BASEBALLL!!!!
BoSOX (Dice-K) ------ +115 2 Units (200-230)

I took that one in the gut.....I thought the Sox would pull it out, but those are the types of games these two teams play!! Well, I got lemons so I will make lemonade!!!! The Yanks win may actually be a blessing in disguise as I will hammer Beckett over Clemens....Hopefully the Yanks winning moves the line further in the favor of the Sox...we shall see boys, we shall see!!! I am uncertain about the matchup with Schill vs Wang and will wait to see what happens tomorrow!!!

Beckett is a far better pitcher than his boyhood idol Clemens....I do not see the Sox getting swept and this is the game they most likely win!! I am up 3 Units since my return, so I will lay that on the line for tonights match-up, however I really like the Sox tonight!!
This will most likely be it for baseball until the playoffs!!

Thanks bro..I did back it up with a small play I ddin't post on the Yanks. Tonight I have mixed emotions, I do think Roger comes to play but Beckett is real solid. The stadium is gonna be rockin thats for sure, may play total not sure yet. GL bro, I have to admit at this point I think you win the East (though it's not a lock yet as many are saying), hopefully we can get in as well and make for a great playoff series. Time will tell. Did you check out my boy Joba the Hut last night? This kid has an electric arm. He will be a starter next year and if I had my way he would replace Moose right now.

And I use "bitches" with the utmost love.
I know you respect each other.
I know you kid each other.
BUT COME THE F$*K ON....
STOP BEING SO NICE...
IT'S THE YANKS/SOX...my yanks friends down here would lynch you in 2 seconds Hilly and the Red Sox fans would make you turn in your Mirabelli jersey Messy.
You guys are killen me. Be nice in other forums..it's the Sox/Yanks.
THE HORROR$$$$$
"Should be a great series"
Typical answer from both camps:
Yanks: We'll knuckle up on those chowda heads and bust out a sweep.
Sox: Those uptown bitchs don't have our heart..sweep.
Beckett is pitching well:
Yanks: Dude is one big fricken blister and looks like a bitch.
Sox: Should be given the Cy Young now..it's OVAAHHH
Good luck in the playoffs:
Yanks: I hope you lose every game you bleepin, bleepin, bleepin sox fan.
Sox: I hope you lose every game you bleepin, bleepin, bleepin yanks fan.
The chivalry is killing me fellas. Stay true to the rivalry and stop being so nice$$$$

As far as being nice, I look at it as "Why beat a dead horse"???
The Sox have led pretty much box to wire and I cannot honestly say that a 7-game lead is something that worries me....You see, The bandwagon just made a stop at the souvenier shop and many so-called yankee fans are in there right now picking up some new "fan-apparel".....Maybe some Mets gear or Angels attire....I am sending Hilly my Lids card so he can save up to 25% on a new Mariners fitted!!!!!
