Now we're talking....6-1 yesterday put some nice cash in the pocket, most of it to pay off the last two days, but oh well...on to todays games
Records
FAV 2-2
DOG 2-3
small plays 6-6
Today....
FAV #5 Detroit -130 (never thought i would ever put them in this spot, but arizona is just flat out awful. losers of 7 in a row and no offense at all cannot keep up with an AL team....should be easy $$$$)
DOG #6 San Diego +105 (just a hunch since valdez is pitching against me in my fantasy bball matchup, so i'm sure he'll get a win to piss me off)
small plays
Cincinnati -110 (should be a good one, harang destroyed pitt twice and perez got the reds twice, but even pitching matchup goes to better team)
Texas -110 (7 in a row and counting....astros don't win with redding,
Baltimore -110 (after watching atlanta last night, its tough not to bet against them..lopez has something to prove tonight after being put back into rotation)
St Louis -135 (KC even worse than ever now without beltran...should be well on their way to the number 1 draft pick for next year)
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted these past couple weeks, I've been on tour!
Back to the action...
Today, I especially like
Cleveland ML
Texas ML
I'll play them both for 20 units, and here's why:
The Astros and Rangers hook up for game two of their All-Texas three game Interleague series in Arlington. In tonight's pitching matchup, Tim Redding pitches for the Astros and will face John Wasdin of the Rangers. Redding is 3-6 with a 5.26 ERA in 13 starts. He has allowed 45 runs on 83 hits with 32 K's, 24 walks and 10 homers in 66.2 innings pitched. He did not look sharp in his last outing when he allowed four runs on eight hits with one K and one walk in just 3.2 innings of work, but he escaped with a no-decision as the Astros rallied to beat the Pirates, 7-5. He has given up just one homer in his last five starts and is 0-1 lifetime in two appearances against Texas, surrendering five runs in 3.2 innings pitched. He is 1-3 in his last six starts and the Astros are just 2-4 in those games. Wasdin is 1-0 with a 3.09 ERA in two starts. He has allowed four runs on 13 hits with 5 K's, 2 walks and 2 homers in 11.2 innings pitched. He was 4-1 with a 3.50 ERA in 13 games (11 starts) with Triple-A Oklahoma before being called up on June 18th. He pitched well his last time out, allowing just one run on six hits over 7.0 innings in an 8-1 win at Florida.
The Rockies and Indians continue their weekend Interleague series in Cleveland. Tonight's pitching matchup features Joe Kennedy of the Rockies versus C.C. Sabathia of the Indians. Kennedy comes in 5-4 with a 3.81 ERA in 15 starts and has allowed 39 runs on 79 hits with 69 K's, 36 walks and 12 homers in 87.1 innings pitched. He pitched well enough to win in his last start when he pitched 7.0 shutout innings, allowing four hits with 4 K's and a walk, but he took a no-decision in an eventual 4-2 home loss against Baltimore. He has won only once on the road this year, and is 0-3 with a 4.95 ERA in his last three road starts. Sabathia is 5-3 with a 2.80 ERA in 14 starts and his ERA ranks third in the AL. He has allowed 33 runs on 82 hits with 61 K's, 32 walks and nine homers in 96.1 innings pitched. Last time out he allowed one run on four hits with 4 K's, one walk and one homer in 8.0 innings in a 5-1 road win versus the White Sox. He is 3-0 in his last four starts and the Indians are 4-0 in those games.
