  2. Alright boys 2-1 last night for a 2-1-2 record on the week.

my leafs let me down last night big time......oh well whats new

Tonight I LOVE!!! the return of Dany Heatly to Atlanta!!

He won't go out and score a hat trick in his first game, but he will give this team a HUGE!!! emotional lift. Kovalchuk will be on fire and the fans will be rocking. This team will win the game for Heatly and it will be a statement game for his teamates to him that they support and want him to play this year. I am making this game a must play!! St. Louis is struggling of late, and can't score (2 goals or less in last 5 games). Atlanta is also struggling a bit, but that will all change tonight.....For those of you that don't follow hockey, Heatly is the guy that crashed his car while racing and his buddy/teammate Dan Snyder in the passenger seat died. This accident is what the team has rallied around to put up their best season in history. He has come back form major knee surgery in just 4 months!!!

If you play any hockey game this year.....this is the one!!!

  8. Hey Gentlemen,

We are starting to heat up as it looks like everyone cleaned up last night!!! Great to hear. Props to Mr. Lasvegas for hitting his previously posted 8 teamer last night!!!

Here's my game of the month in the Missouri Valley, one of the NCAA conferences I cap quite well (72% clip this year ATS)

    SIU at Wichita State

    Opening Line WSU -2

    IN my words as always:

SIU comes into Wichita boasting an impressive 14-2 record with a stellar 8-0ATS road mark. Wichita State counters at 12-6 and an impressive 6-2 ATS at home (4-1ATS in their last five).

This game is a huge one in the Missouri Valley. With perennial contenders Creighton and SIU in their usual hunt for respect and a post season dance, many 2'nd tier teams in the Valley are not getting noticed. The Shockers come on strong in January with a 12-6 record and a chance to put themselves in the thick of the Mo Valley race tonight.

Wichita State is in a must win situation at home tonight. While the Salukis post an impressive ATS and SU record, I want you to look at who they have played. Their RPI and schedule strength is a joke...one reason why they might be in Madison Square Garden for the NIT instead of the big dance.

Last year, in similar conditions, SIU looked ahead to the Creighton game (these two teams play later in the week) as they entered the Shockers home floor. The result, a 500% Shocker team took the Salukis to the woodshed and won by 30+.

This year, SIU won't be fooled. However, the Shockers will be up to the task tonight. This is a must win, and you can't tell me SIU is better than Creighton (wins over two ranked teams in non conference this year.) Wichita State dominated Creighton and went on to win by 15, although the game was never that close.

Look for SIU to come out early and establish an inside presence. However, the Shockers will continue to rely on their own defense and three point ability. It will be close, but Wichita State wins this one by 5+ tonight.

    PLAY: TAKE THE SHOCKERS -2.

Good luck, let's hit em hard.

My other plays today (will also take Init2Win and Mr. lasVegas, they are on fire this week!!)

    South Carolina +5

    Mizzou +2

    KU -5 1/2

Kentucky under (this game will be in the 50's)

ATlanta Thrashers (Vegas and meek's best plays of the year in hockey)

  9. Lost last night, but tonight we get back on the winning ways. Don't wanna sound like a broken record on this board, but i also had this game pegged a few days ago. Dany Heatley's return to the lineup, take:

    Atlanta ML over St. Louis.

Blues have lost 3 in a row, and Atl is over 500 at home. My book has Atl (ML) +115

  16. Took a big hit last night going 1-4--OUCH! Was gonna take the day off, but there's too many opportunites on the card tonight. Gonna try to turn this around. Here's what I'm looking at so far:

    CBB:

St Louis +7 (good conference matchup, should be close)

    Wichita St. -1

    Iowa St. -10

    MissourI +2

    NBA:

    Houston -1

    Memphis -7

    Minn -4.5 (revenge)

Waiting for a line on the Lakers--The LA Pussies could be a great play tonight.

  29. What's up fellas$$$$$$$$$ Was 3-3-1 yesterday with my Best Bets going 2-0 !!!! The Nets game went over by a bucket, the Sonics pushed on a buzzer-beater, and The Sabers (really?) scored 3 goals in the 3rd or I could have been 6-1. Enough complaining. My record on this board now stands at 15-15-1 and my Best Bets are 5-2.

    NBA

    Raptors (-7)

    T-Wolves (-4.5)

    NHL

    Flyers (-0.5)

    Rangers (-0.5)

    CBB

    Villanova (-6) Best Bet

Villanova is finally starting to come together. No more injuries or phone card scandles to worry about. And this team has some talent. They have beaten Rutgers 5 of the last 7 times the two have met including the last 4 at home. Rutgers is mediocre at best away from the "RAC".

    Villanova 77 Rutgers 65

    Rice (-8) Best Bet

I have been following the Owls all year and they are $$$$ at home. 7-2 SU and 4-1 ATS with the two loses being UConn by 9 and Stanford by 4. We can excuse them for losing those two. Hawaii has been uncharacteristically good on the road this year going 4-1 SU and 3-1 ATS. However, they haven't played anyone as good as Rice. The Owls will roll tonight!!!

    Rice 84 Hawaii 62

    Also....

    Michigan (-4.5)

    Temple (-13)

    Good luck all!!!!
