NBA Picks for Sun, May 20

It seems like we have a steep line for Game 1 this afternoon. It opened at 7.5, but quickly dropped to 6.5. I'll pass and see what happens.

Opinion:

UTAH +6.5

Series Predictions:

Spurs in 6

Pistons in 7

It looks like we are headed toward another Pistons-Spurs final. I love it, but would never be disappointed to see the hometown boys or this exciting, fundamentally sound Jazz team get there. I will actually take a shot at both dogs winning each particular series because the odds tell me it's worth it.

Smaller Series Plays (not because I think they will win, but because you never know what might happen):

    I'll update my record tomorrow..forgot to cut and paste.

    Game 1 in the West:

    I'm all over Utah +6 1/2. In fact, I think they might steal game 1. If the youngens can get over their nerves, they match up very well with San Antonio. Boozer has been a godsend for the Jazz and Deron matches up great with Parker. The Role players will decide this series, not the marquee names.

    Game 1 I'll roll with the rested team although I'm very worried about the youth getting drilled and being overexcited. Sloan is a very underrated coach and I think Utah will surprise.

    ROLL WITH ME ON UTAH +6 1/2 @ San Antonio

    Series: I can't lay against the spurs but I will put 1 unit down on the Heir apparent and his court of jesters.

    The Cleveland Cavs baby...>BELIEVE JT..I'm tellin ya right now Flip Saunders will cost them at least 1 game in this series. Where the hell is MJ the pistons fan, I know he will have some good input on that.

  2. ok fellas i've invested some time into beaver ball and think there is money to be made here.

    yesterday i had det. shock -4 and they covered.

    today i'm all over under 144 1/2 chicago/new york liberty game. This one is gonna end in the 130's. a lot of changes in the roster and early in the season, i don't think these teams will hit their stride yet.

    gl if you follow and gl to me on my 1st season as a wnba fan. lmao.
