NBA Picks for Fri, May 18

NEW JERSEY -3 (I don't think the Cavs can close this thing out on the road; they will just have to do it at home like I expected before the series strated)
PHOENIX +3 (I am a whack job, picking the Suns in every game; I think they will come out with some real intensity tonight; they proved they could win in San Antonio; you think they might be pissed after what happened in Game 5, letting that one slip away?; now they get two key parts back for Game 6; I wouldn't be all that disappointed if the Spurs won because I whacked them on the series, but I think the Spurs will have to take this series on the road)

I'm with you on both games. My thoughts exactly. On one hand, you have Kidd saying B-ball's his life, and then Lebron says, it's only basketball, it's not my life!
Suns come out with fire to revenge game 5, a game they would have won without those cop-out suspensions.

Great night last night in hoops
Round 1: 14-11-1 ATS
Round 2: 10-7 ATS (hit on pistons and the under)
Tonight:
Roll with me on the over in Phoenix. I really believe that the Suns come out on fire tonight. They are pissed, Amare is gonna prove how big that suspension was by dominating tonight. Losing Horry still hurts and forces Barry to step up his game tonight. The Suns have a very legitimate shot of winning this game but tradition tells me that the Spurs will. They are just dominant at home. Anyways, this game screams over to me. If either team falls behind by double digits (which I think they will) then the other has the ability to get back in it. Phoenix will be desperate and if down, foul early and often against the free throw challenged spurs late in the 4'th. I am riding the over tonight.

Absolutely no opinion on Game 6 in the East. I'm too pumped about the Battle of Ohio in baseball tonight.
