NBA Picks for Tues, May 15
I made sure to get that bitch in last night, and then I was f'n this and f'n that all night until the final 30 seconds when I knew it was a winner. I don't know how the Spurs let that one slip away, but I was due for one like that. I was very impressed with the way the Suns played down the stretch. They actually played defense. We have a series now. I still think the Spurs win, but it's too bad Phoenix will most likely lose Stoudamire and Diaw for Game 5. That's a shame. We now venture toward the next day:
Play:
DETROIT -7 (yes, I'm rolling on the Pistons to close this thing out in emphatic fashion; they were dominated in every possible way in Game 4, and it's now time to take care of business; Detroit was never really in that game, but I expected Chicago to come out strong in at least one game; that was it; one important stat that I noticed, though, was the Bulls still turning the ball over 18 times; not good; the Bulls can get the fishing gear out now)
ML Plays:
DETROIT -340 (I'm laying the wood because they are not letting this series go any longer)
Opinion:
UTAH -4.5 (I think it's over for the Showers; they have no answer for Boozer; they continue to get dominated on the boards; I'll stay away, though, because if Golden State gets hot behind the arc, this could be another burner)
phball, I forgot to give you the props yesterday on your stellar Mother's Day plays! Nice job, bro!
