NBA Picks for Mon, May 14
You know what's even more f'n retarded than losing the way I have been losing and getting crushed: hitting both plays yesterday, but not getting them in because I was too busy working on one of our busiest days of the year in my industry. Again, WHATEVER.
Play:
PHOENIX +3.5 (I should shoot myself for going against the Spurs for the third straight time, but I believe the Suns get it done tonight as long as Amare stays out of foul trouble; I don't expect Nash to play as poorly as he did in Game 3 either; the free throw line turned out to be a huge difference in the last game, with the Spurs dominating in that aspect; that doesn't happen very often, especially against the Suns; I believe the Suns get to the line more often in Game 4 and make the shots; the Spurs will still win this series, though, because they are the better team)
ML Play:
PHOENIX +150
Opinion:
NEW JERSEY -3.5 (the Nets dominated the glass in Game 3, unlike the first two games in Cleveland; they also shot better from the field as they did in Game 2; New Jersey is shooting better than Cleveland up to this point in this series; if the Nets hang in there with the Cavs on the boards again, they will win and cover again; the extra boost from the home fans should be enough to get it done, but I'll pass on this one)
