NBA Picks for Mother's Day
Alright, I guess I'll torture myself some more b/c I hit two out of the three big plays. PC, nice hit with the Spurs, but I thought you were going to hammer the Suns after the emphatic win in Game 2 (I guess you changed your mind; I should have done the same). For some odd reason, I was believing the Suns would steal this game, but as usual, the Spurs pretty much own the Suns.
Play:
CHICAGO +3 (PC, I know you will be on the Pistons, but I just don't believe Detroit is that much better than Chicago to sweep them; they are definitely the better team, but I'm not seeing the broom here; on that note, just get out the broom now b/c I'm playing it; I should play the ML, but I'll just take the points)
Opinion:
UTAH +7 (Golden State might whack them again, but I think the Jazz could keep this one close)
ML Play:
UTAH +260 (although I think the Showers will even this series up, I believe the Jazz are worth a shot here on the ML)
I wanted to add that Game 3 in Oakland was not exciting from a pure basketball standpoint. Blowouts are never fun unless, of course, your action is on the winning side. I was on the winning side, but did not enjoy the game. All I was doing was praying that GS would not blow the big lead. It will be nice to actually enjoy basketball (and all the other sports) next season with no action. GL today, my friends, and I shall shut my mouth now!

JDelt, your right, I was gonna rain on the Suns but after looking at the numbers and play off history the Spurs were the play. And your right, I called my shot a few days ago and yes, I'll take the Pistons today.

NBA: Roll with me on Detroit. They are the better team, they are vets, and they dont' want to go to game 5. I can't see the Bulls playing for pride and realistically thinking they can win this series. Anybody here the story in the Tribune about the Bulls doubting their own abilities in the post season? Sweep city hits Chi Town today.

NBA: Roll with me on Golden State. Sorry JDelt, but I don't have the balls to lay on the Jazz. Billz and I were talking last night and we both agree that NO ONE is going to beat the Warriors from here on out at home. Maybe Utah covers, but I think the Warriors will roll them again today.

One good sign is that we are all on the Pistons and Warriors. That usually means the minority is at least gonna split. Good luck today, we're probably both going 1-1. Have a good one all.

the first two in the Win column and up 8 bills so far today. as for the late game, i like the Jazz plus the points here...even @ Oakland. A closer game and a chance to pull the W is not out of the question for this Utah team. Here are my plays tonight and a prediction of GS 109-105
