NBA Picks for Tues, May 8
PC, no need to be sorry about anything! You were right on again with the Pistons dominating the Bulls! Chicago better get it together back at the United Center or this series will be over quickly! So much for my series play on the Bulls! They won't win it now, but I think they should be able to extend it to 6 or 7 games! We try again today:
Plays:
NEW JERSEY +5 (I'm going to the well again with J-Kidd and crew; this time I expect them to get the win on the road; the Cavs had too many second chance opportunities in that first game; I look for the Nets to do a better job of rebounding the basketball in this game)
PHOENIX -5 (I cringe a bit here as I make this play; I think the Suns need to push the ball even more, with Nash doing less scoring and more dishing; he did not have enough assists in Game 1, but that's how the Spurs want it; I think the Spurs will settle for Nash leading his team in scoring, which means he's not getting everyone else involved enough; Phoenix needs to continue to move on offense and find the open shooters from behind the arc, and it must rebound a whole lot better; it's so tough to do these things against this Spurs team because San Antonio is so active on the defensive end, but I feel the Suns will somehow get it done tonight with the help from the home crowd; this is their last shot, so they better get it done)
ML Plays:
NEW JERSEY +190
PHOENIX -240
