NBA Picks for Mon, May 7
Because the Bulls were mopped up in Game 1, I like this game even better now. I think it worked out in Chicago's favor to get blown out in the first game. Now they see what they need to do, and I believe we will see the Bulls match the intensity of the Pistons. The Bulls will even this series up tonight.

Opinion:
GOLDEN STATE +4 (if you are going to play this game, why would you not roll with this team; they are hot; question is: can they win in Utah?; the Rockets couldn't do it, and many haven't been able to do it in the playoffs)
Series Prediction:
Warriors in 6 (I would not be shocked at all if Utah won this series in 7 games; I don't think GS will be able to clinch on the road, so they must do it in 6; I'm not playing the series, though, b/c there is no value here; the value was all chewed up in the series with the Mavs; I believe the value is actually with the Jazz here)

Here's what I have for tonight:
Roll with me on G State/Utah under 208. Here's why:
**Let's look at the numbers first. In 4 meetings this year the under was 3-1.
**The Jazz are 4-1 ATS on the under at home..More on this below.
**Baron Davis is admittedly still hurting with a bad hammy.
**Neither team has been in the 2nd round in years.
Here's my logic:
Both teams are happy to be here. Which team will mature and play like they belong here? Davis, JRich, Steven Mr 3 Jackson, and company hold a special place in my heart because I banked all first round on them. Tonight, I like the under because I think Utah will impose their will on the Warriors. While the Jazz can run, it behooves them to slow down the game. They win when they play defense and even though they can run with the Warriors, why would they? It proved to be the key ingredient in beating Houston as slowing the game down frustrated T Mac and company late in the 4'th. I won't touch the side as I have much respect for what the Warriors did first round, but I will advocate the under.

Game #2:
Sorry Jdelt, I gotta roll the Pistons. Same logic as game 1, the Pistons are playoff vets and know what needs to be done even though they have playoff killer Flip at the helm. I don't see what the Bulls can change to have a chance at winning Game 2. They will switch to a zone in hopes of stopping the Piston's hot perimeter shooting tonight, but the Bulls just can't solve Detroit on the other side of the court. I'm rollin on Detroit to get it done again tonight in emphatic fashion.
ROLL WITH ME ON DETROIT -5 @ home against Chicage Game 2.
