NBA Picks for Sun, May 6

I believe the Bulls just learned a valuable lesson: You better bring it every night against the Pistons; there is no slouch time now! (PC, great smash with that one, bro! At least someone, unlike myself, is in a playoff groove! And, no, I did not forget about you Takis! Keep bringing it, my friend!) Time for the Second Round! Boy am I glad the first one is over; by far, my worst one ever! (The Mavs and Heat, the defending conference champs, f--king blew me away!)

Play:

NEW JERSEY +6.5 (I think we see the rust factor in a little more here more so than the fact that the Nets just finished their series Friday night; the Cavs proved nothing to me in that first series with only one decisive win in Game 1 against the worst playoff team this year imo; this is going to be a tough series, and I believe the Nets can steal the first one on the road)

Opinion:

SAN ANTONIO +4.5 (what other way would I go with this one?, but not playing it b/c I want to see what the Suns will bring to the table against the best defensive team in the league; do I think the Spurs will win this game? yes; do I think the Suns have a chance to actually win Game 1? yes; therefore, no play)

SAN ANTONIO +145 (PUNCHOUT)

CHICAGO +160

CLEVELAND -270 (I still think they have enough to take down the Nets in 7 games, despite a struggle in Game 1)

  7. I finally survived the end of a game! PC, keep rubbing that genie's head for me! And, oh yeah, I love watching the Suns lose! The Spurs are just flat out better! I'll probably play Phoenix in Game 2, but wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of a couple years ago!
