Ok guys, lets get this show starting.. I have one play tonight that i LOVE:
Yankees -150
Yanks are throwing Hughes on the mound vs Loe for Texas. Let me start by saying that i watched Hughes make his first major league start last week against the Jays. This kid has some good stuff. Don't let the numbers fool u from that first start. He had excellent command (struck out 5 batters and only walked 1 in 4.3 innings pitched). He was charged with 4 earned runs but 3 of them came in the 1st inning. After that first inning, he settled down and made it to the 5th inning before giving up another run. On the other hand Loe has been horrible facing the yanks. He made 2 starts last year against the Yanks and they smacked him around for 14 hits and 9 ER's in 10 IP. He's got a 5.21 ERA this season. With the Texas Rangers struggling to score runs and a desperate Yankees team trying to keep up with the Red Sox i can see a blow out win tonight for the Yanks. Oh yea did i mention the Yankees are 8-1 their last 9 visits to Texas? I hope this game is as easy as it looks here.... But i'm slamming the Yanks hard tonight..

I see pretty good value here for the Mets and on the Run line. I know Pelfrey has been rocked so far this year, but if the trend continues, this will be his last game as a Met until he gets his shit together. The kid has good stuff, he just needs a boost.

The Marlins are throwing junk on the mound tonight, probably the least effective pitcher against one of the top tier hitting teams !!
