  1. That is a tough call. I have no idea what would happen. One would think that MMA guys would stomp boxers by being skilled at all the other aspects, i.e, takedowns, submitionss, kicks, muay tai shit etc. On the other hand boxers could throw 20 punches before an MMA guy knew what hit him.

As for Lidell standing up against a boxer the same weight, I think Chuck would get drilled.

  2. This is tough fellas. Look at how fast some of those MMA guys shoot their opponents. I think if a boxer got put on his back it would be over with in a second. I think a guy like Tito Ortiz or even Randy Coture would find a way to take down the boxer. But they would be very tenative. Because if that boxer hit any of those guys it would be lights out. Mayweather is fast as hell. I think he would do alright in his weight class. He is too quick to be taken down. But I also think one of those guys would get on him. PC I'd like to hear what you think about this.

My prediction for the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight. This is going to be an awesome fight. If Oscar hits Mayweather there is no doubt in my mind that he will knock him out. There was a fight a few years back. Someone might remember. He should have lost the fight on decision but he was the big name and they stole it from the other guy. It was a very very bad decision. He was dropped and almost stopped in that fight. Oscar has a great defense. But Mayweather is fast. The fastest I have ever seen. So we shall see. Who hits who first. :)

I want to hear some of the others thoughts. So talk about it fellas.

    Later,

    Jimmy
