NBA Play-off Bets:
Orlando @ Detroit:
Orlando backdoors the first game and manages to cover the 10 in game 1. As most of you cappers know, they shot 50% from the free throw line and for those that watched the game, they will tell you phenom Howard had a "poor" game.
Well, call it what you will, but Detroit should have blown the doors off of them. They let Orlando back in it and honestly, I don't think Orlando has much to offer in this series. Detroit double teamed Howard and forced the poor game. His 58% free throw shooting this year makes it easy to foul the behometh. I look at Game 2 and I see the Pistons licking their chops and hopefully going for the throat. They know it's gonna get difficult quickly.
Detroit has won all 5 games SU this year. Tonight is a huge game for the Pistons, not so much for the Magic. Orlando will try to get the win, but knows they are headed home. Detroit really didn't look that great in game 1 and I expect them to come out blazing tonight.
Even though Champion killer Flip Saunders is at the helm he can't screw this up. Play Pistons defense, give the rock to whoever's hot from the trey, and watch it fall in line.

Utah at Houston:
Roll with me on Utah +5 1/2 @ Houston. What an ugly game 1 but we learned a lot. Tmac and yao are the Rockets offense. Head, Battier, and Alston are nothing more than 3 point shooters. McGrady was very nervous (or so I read on CBS) and had an off night. But that is Utah basketball. Look at the records and yes, I know Yao missed half of the year. But the resiliency of Utah and their penchant for getting after it defensively should translate to better offense tonight. The defense was their in Game 1 and made the under an easy cover..but tonight I think you'll see both more teams relaxed. Utah has had ATS success against the Rockets this year. As some of you know I play a lot on Houston this year, but I am going the other way tonight. Utah is not a bad team and Houston doesn't have the firepower to bury a defensive minded Jazz team.

I'm not huge on the totals tonight, I'll leave that to Billz. But I've been patiently waiting for the post season and I believe we have a good handle on tonight's action. I like the side plays better.
