NBA Picks for Sat, April 21

Let's get this party started! I think you all know where I'm starting today:

NEW JERSEY +4.5 (By the time this game is over, the Raps won't know what hit them; I'm rolling with the more experienced team to steal Game 1 on the road)

(5 of these series have outrageous odds, so none are worth the play unless you roll with the dog, but I don't think any of them can win its particular 7 game series)

Series Predictions:

Pistons in 5

Cavs in 5

Nets in 6

Bulls in 7

Mavs in 6

Suns in 5

Spurs in 6

Rockets in 7

I'm sure someone will get swept, but you never know who that might be. No one seems to be giving the Bulls a chance to win this series. I've heard that they will battle the Heat, but all I've heard is that Miami will eventually take them down. I disagree. I believe the champs will fall in a tough series. And will the Raptors make me eat crow some more? We will see! Lastly, it doesn't happen very often, but I think both of the top teams will make the NBA Finals, with the Mavs taking the title.

    DALLAS +185- these guys burned me last year at 10/1 with the late collapse. but i bileieve they were the best and deepest team in the league by far who is on a mission to make up for last years dissapointment.

    CLEVELAND +2400- betmania still has the cavs at +2400 from when they were projected to be the 5 seed in the east. most books cut that in half when they got the second seed. believe this opens real good middle if the cavs get thru there quad of wizards/rators/nets, which i see them doing.

  3. All right, lets' start the annual post season dominance. Yeah I'm cocky, I've done very well in the NBA post season. Go look at the archives..but it's all about the now..not what we did in the past.

    Post season play #1:

    Roll with me on Miami +4 @ Chicago.

    Youth vs. Veterans.

    A hall of fame coach vs. a journeyman coach.

    The best big man of our generation in the middle. (Ben who?)

    Better guard play

    Better leadership and bench.

    There are many reasons I'm on the Heat. But first game nerves in the playoffs are a factor and I'll take the vets and big boy inside.

    Heat are a good playoff team and Riley gets the most out of his players at these times. Look for Payton and Employee #8 to again make a statement in the playoffs. Zo will also be a big factor today to give Shaq Fu a breather.
