  1. MLB YTD 5-3 (+1.4 units)

Instead of focusing on how I lost last night, I will keep my focus on winning today!! But for Christs sake, how do you only score a combined ONE RUN in two games for Dice K???...People may blame him, but 3 hits and 10 k's in six innings...I'll take that. Typical Sox meltdown...no run support.

Looking at a game or two...I'll check in later.

  2. Looking at two early games toady....

TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS (KAZMIR) ----- -125 2 Units (250-200)

In this pitching duel, I will go with the D-rays bats!

    LA ANGELS (LACKEY) ---------- -110 4 Units (440-300)

Looking for Lackey to bounce back and help the Angels snap out of their slump...Lackey no doubt has the edge here....Oakland's Dan Haren (0-2, 2.00) opposes Lackey for the second time this season, after being the hard-luck earlier this month. Haren allowed two runs - one earned - and six hits in seven innings. The right-hander has gone 1-4 with a 4.14 ERA in six starts against the Angels since the start of last season, and is 2-5 with a 4.58 ERA in eight starts against them lifetime.

The Angels start Lackey (2-1, 2.04 ERA), who has dominated Oakland lately. He allowed one run and seven hits in seven innings of a 2-1 win over the Athletics on April 7 to win his fourth straight start over them.

Over that stretch, the right-hander has allowed just three runs for an 0.87 ERA and has struck out 32 in 31 innings. Lackey is 7-1 with a 1.61 ERA in his last nine starts against the A's and 4-0 with a 1.59 ERA in five starts at McAfee Coliseum since Aug. 9, 2005.

This Angels play is my largest thus far this year....the line is perfect and the setting is great as well!!

  4. Hey fellas...we now run the record to 11-3..today, i have two plays, one involving my team, where we stand at 4-1 in playing games involving the cubs...first, the early play..

    BALTIMORE ORIOLES/TAMPA BAY UNDER 4 FIRST 5 INNINGS- -115

    And for the Cubs/Braves tilt...

    Cubs -110

Zambrano has not had two good starts and Lou called him out the other day when he gave up 6 runs after being spotted a 5-0 lead. He comes out today to show Sweet Lou how good a pitcher he is...Personally, I think the contract situation is on his mind, and the coaches may have addressed him privately. He comes out today...he won't be this cheap again, so let's strike it now...

  6. Here are the 2 plays I played in the GP MLB contest.

    CIN -140

    FLA -120

    Contest record: 7-1 (+664)

I also think playing DET and SEA with Felix and Bonderman going as a 2-team parlay should cash.

Stat play - STL +105....Cards 5-1 on road and SF 1-5 at home and Morris sucks vs old team.

Jivany - good observation on the Cub game with Lou calling out Big Z, however I am still concerned playing him in April (he starts slow almost every year), secondly he is walking a shitload of guys making it tough for him to go past 6 innings and after yesterday the bullpen is depleted. With that said, I hope you are right and he deals a gem. I think I will wait for Rich Hill to pitch tomorrow vs Redman though.

    Good luck

  8. Gotta love Nets +3.5.

Ok, I'm Chicago. If I win, I play the same for the first round, who are 7-3 past ten.

If I lose, then I play the Wizards, who are 2-8 last ten and has injury and motivaton problems.

Hmm. what to do. what to do.

I think you are mistaken... if the bulls lose this game, they are going to be a 5 seed and will have to play Miami in the first round followed by Detroit in the 2nd round. The bulls have a lot to play for tonight.

  10. Hey Sherlock,

If the Bulls lose and Clev wins they would drop to the #5 seed and have to play MIA and only get one round of home court advantage. They have tons of incentive to win tonight. Secondly - if they win and and Wash lose they would still get Wash in the first RD, because the Nets would stay at #6 and Wash would stay at #7.

Check out the all the scenarios if you like.
