NBA Picks for Mon, April 9

The Raps are for real (which, by the way, doesn't change the way I cap), but easy my friend, the Raps will struggle to get out of the first round this year (unless they get lucky enough to play the Wiz or Magic), and they will not have the best record in the East next year. Toronto is having a very good season, but the playoffs are a whole different ball game. This team has a long way to go! On that note, I am set up for the next big play:

MINNESOTA +2 (PUNCHOUT) (everything seems to point toward the Raptors winning this game easily, and that's why I'm going the other way; not b/c I don't like the Raptors, but b/c my capping style and years of research tell me to roll big with the T-Wolves here; I won't even get into it here; this is not a play just b/c I think the Raptors have to eventually lose ATS; if it loses, it loses; I would still play this game 100 times over)

Once again, I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE TORONTO RAPTORS!!!!!!!

  1. That's cool jdelt. I agree the raps will have trouble in the playoffs. They're just too young, but that will set them up for a better playoff run next year. With the Leafs sucking it up, they're the talk of the town in T.O.

    It's setting up nice with a first round sweep of the one-dimensional wiz.

    I like this game too, but go with under 195.

  2. jdelt i disagree bro with twolves play. craptors blew the bulls out yesterday and they are still playing for playoff positioning. twolves are out of playoff and are gonna start playing younger guys to get a feel for them for next season. last game garnett played only 31 minutes. watch as he sits in 4th quarter. also, tot. knows they need some confidence winning on the road. i like tot. and will be on them myself. good thing is, is that one of us has to win. lol.
