The Marlins and Indians wrap up their three game set in Cleveland. Tonight's pitching matchup features Carl Pavano of the Marlins versus Jason Davis of the Indians. Pavano comes in rolling with a 5-2 record and a 3.33 ERA in eleven starts. He has allowed 29 runs on 70 hits with 41 K's, 19 walks and seven homers in 78.1 innings pitched. Pavano has made eight consecutive starts in which he has pitched at least seven innings, and the Marlins are 9-2 in his 11 starts. Last time out he allowed one run on six hits with three K's, no walks and a homer in 7.2 innings in a 5-1 win over the Mets. Davis is 1-3 with a 5.32 ERA in 12 starts, allowing 46 runs on 86 hits with 34 K's, 30 walks and five homers in 67.2 innings. He continues to struggle with his rhythm on the mound, and that problem affects his control. In his last start he gave up five runs on seven hits with three K's and five walks in 5.1 innings and took a no-decision in a 9-6 win over Anaheim. His only win came on May 4th versus the Red Sox when he allowed two runs on six hits in 6.0 innings.

Well I ended up with a win and a push Tuesday nite (Lakers-8 & over 169)..And tonite I can have Shaq and Kobe even steven...are you kidding me??? I will take my chances on the Lakers in ANY pick em game...Thank You very much...Tonite I played:

tonight is the all important game 3 in the nba finals. does phil jackson ever lose a game 3.....does the winner of game 3 usually go on to win the series.....hummmm? detroit shows once again that they can play with the lakers tonight-but folds in the 4th quarter in a low scoring defensive battle in auburn hills.
