The Catamounts. Who ? Yes Vermont playing against K-St getting 12. Just took a quick look at this contest, did a few things and said what the hell, let's gear up for the Big Show. Plus we are owed one from last night !!!
Personally, I just don't like K-State's schedule. I mean yeah they hit the 20 win mark, but they went the cupcake road much like their football progam is noted for. Here is who they scheduled. Tenn Tech, Coppin St, Clev St, North Dakota St, Kennesaw St, MD-Eastern Shore. I mean really, should a big XII team be allowed to do this ? Well I guess they are paying for it now, They would rather have 20 wins and a NIT bid instead of 16 wins and NO BIG DANCE, so I guess it's a money thang, LMAO !!!!!
On the other hand, Vermont isn't a Golden gem, but at least when they had the opportunity to play non-Conf foes, they wanted a game. Let's see, Drexel, Maryland, Michigan St, Boston College. A little different tune huh ? Not saying that they faired well in those matchups, but they do bring a 25-7 ( 15-1 in America East ) record to the table, 1st place in the America East ( lost to Albany by 1 point in the Championship game after beating them twice during the regular season ) a 14 point win at Boston College. Key word, AT, so I think Vermont warrants a lil action here. At least we will give them credit for playing some phucking body. Nothing Big, but 12 points seems like a lot for a well-rounded club.
