2/17/07 - Prep Races!!

I will look towards Drtnapper in these first two preps for guidance. However, as always, I will look at these longshots to throw in my exotics.

Feb. 17 t-Borderland Derby Sunland Park 11/16 miles $100,000

9 Jack Hes Tops (CA) 12/1 Casey T. Lambert

Feb. 17 h-Sam Davis Tampa Bay 11/16 miles $150,000

7 Singapore Swing (KY) 15/1 Vernon Bush

Was looking for a long shot at Turf Paradise, but I kept being drawn to the chalk... To be honest, i cant see Gregorian Bay not winning this going away....

Feb. 17 t-Turf Paradise Derby Turf Paradise 11/16 miles $100,000

1 Gregorian Bay (KY) 5/2 Glenn W. Corbett

Sorry so late been out of town -

Sam Davis - Tampa Bay 10th Race - #3 Any Given Saturday

This colt should win this easily.

For those of you who follow bloodlines -

AGS's granddaddys are Forty-Niner and AP Indy

    and AP Indy makes ....

AGS's great granddaddy is Seattle Slew and

AGS's great great granddaddy is Secretariat

Bloodlines don't really mean shit to me, but

AGS is the class of this race.

    #3 to WIN

I was going to play no EXOTICS as the rest will race for 2nd

but I like Southern's pick #7 as the best of the rest. So I will also do

    #3-#7 EX STR

Borderland Derby & Turf Paradise Derby

I am passing on these as I do not have time.

Barbara Fritchie Breeders' Cup H. (G2) - Laurel 9th Race

This is not really a derby prep.

7 Furlongs | Fillies and Mares | 3 Year Olds And Up Stakes

Not one 3 yr old in this race.

    I find value in the #4 & #8 at 12-1 & 6-1 odds

as these two are very close to #2 & #6 which are at 5-2 & 7-2 odds

Will play 4-8 EX - Look for all EVEN numbers on the board ( 2-4-6-8 )

That is all the time I have

    Good Luck Bitchas

  3. .

Actually, we are in very close agreement -

My initial pick was the 2-4

Just finding more value with the 4-8

    2-4-8 is a good TRI

    2-4-6-8- a nice SUPR

Looking at Tampa one last time -

    #3 is clearly the winner

now adding a 3-2 EX STR

    3 win 400

    3-2 100

    3-7 40

  4. Results from Yesterday

Got paid nicely with my longshot on a WPS selection. Jack Hes Tops sneaks in at 2nd and paid:

    9 Jack Hes Tops Casey T. Lambert 14.40 9.40

    +17.8 units

Ran OTM at the Sam Davis

Drtnappers pick ones, but mine can not complete the exacta as i played 2 units on the 3/7 and one unit on the 7/3

    -6 units

My favorite to win on the day came in 2nd at Turf Paradise, so lost some on my WPS

    1 Gregorian Bay Glenn W. Corbett 2.40 2.10 0

    -1.5 units

    OTM at Laurel

Lost on my show bet, lost on my exacta box

    -6 units

    Day end results:

+4.3 units.... well take it and come back next time
