NBA Picks for Tues, Feb. 13
We have another home-and-home and I'm hitting it big:
MEMPHIS +1.5 (PUNCHOUT) (imo, forget the 1.5; the Grizz will win by 5 or 6 points; I'll take them at even money)
TORONTO +4.5 (Takis, you watch, your boys will screw me tonight b/c I'm now on them, but I hope they get it done)
SACRAMENTO +7.5 (I think the Kings keep this one close and cover the number)

i'm adding one more play:
Nets +5
Why the hell are the Spurs favored by 5.5? This team is struggling and they are in no position to lay 5.5 to a solid home team. This game goes down the the wire...

NIKE...FYI Kidd is questionable for tonight with back spasms. I expect he will play but he was kept out of practice yesterday and Frank said in today's Newark Star-Ledger that Kidd could be kept out of the last 2 games before the break.
GL if you play it!

Much respect to you guys on Toronto tonight @ Chicago, however I like the Bulls for a few reasons:
Any team coming back home after a 7 game road trip has a tendency to let down a little making Toronto look inviting. Couple that with the fact that Toronto has been playing well lately and their road ATS is 15-11.
However, keep in mind, the Bulls are a much better team at home as they are 20-6 SU and 16-10 ATS. They are especially good vs. the Eastern Conference. Earlier this year they had a miserable 1-6 - seven game road trip and came up with a 17 point home win their first game back. This trip was better at 3-4 and although they have a about a 4 minute brain cramp every game I still see them winning SU by at least 7 and covering the 4.5. Their scoring differenential at home is about +10.5.
TOR are 1-8 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Chicago
TOR is 0-3 ATS on the road after a 5-9 point loss
CHI is 7-1 @ home after a win of more then 10
PLAY ON: CHI -4.5
GLTA,
TOD

be careful.. usually when a star player is out the team responds very well to situations like this... I am still playing the Nets... Eddie House and Marcus Williams are more than capable of stepping up..
